New figures show an increase of rapes in Sweden – against women, children and men with an average increase of 14 percent. Rapes against men stand particularly out – up by 40 percent compared to the same period last year.

It is the Swedish Crime Preventing Counsel, BRÅ, which annually publishes statistics of crime development in the country. Recently published figures can now reveal that the first half of the year 2019, the number of reported rapes and sexual abuses increased substantially compared to the same period the year before. On average, rapes went up by 14 %, out of which rape of children rose by 6%, of women by 20% and of men by 40%.

In total, criminality against people increased by 2 percent, but it is the most violent acts that stand out the most. Less serious crimes, e.g. thefts, pick-pocketing and breaking into homes are decreasing, which Swedish left-wing media enjoys focusing on.

Last Friday night, a woman in her 20s is said to have been raped in central Piteå in northern Sweden.

According to the woman, ten men were involved in the crime and she describes them as “dark-haired and dark-skinned” – something that is omitted in Swedish mainstream media.

The reason why the police release this information is because they want tips from the public that can lead to the guilty being arrested.

Several of Sweden’s largest media outlets have reported on the police alert – but omit the detail about the men’s appearance.

A Somali-Swedish dual national and two Lithuanians have been convicted by a Swedish court for raping a 14-year-old girl after they had lured her to meet up with them over the social media app SnapChat.

19-year-old Abukar Ahmed Mohamed, a Somali-Swede, is said to have first made contact with the teenage girl over Snapchat. According to a report from Nyheter Idag, 36-year-old Mindaugas Siaulys paid Mohamed to facilitate the sex with the 14-year-old girl.

Siauly and Mohamed, along with 56-year-old Aleksandras Makéjévas, picked the teen up in a vehicle and told her that they would be headed Borlänge’s city center. Instead the group of men drove the 14-year-old to a residential building.

After arriving at the residential building, the Lithuanian man paid money to Mohamed and proceeded to rape the girl.
All three men were found guilty of offenses.

These rapes has become very common in Sweden. Seems that flaws in legislation and the justice system have resulted in leniency for rapists. Some women do not report attacks because they distrust the justice system, and those who do frequently are ignore and denied justice.

According to Amnesty International report “Despite high levels of rape, there are very low prosecution rates in Sweden with only 6 percent of cases involving adults resulting in prosecution in 2017. Low prosecution and conviction rates affect confidence in the justice system.”

Or is it Italy that does, given the Mafia? Trump said it was Mexico that didn't send its best people. And there are Russian gangs now in the US, presumably of the Russian Orthodox religion. The Muslims, Mexicans, and Italians can be somewhat darker skinned, but the Irish and Russians certainly aren't. How do we decide whom to hate and fear?

The answer to the good officer's comments is rightly, "So what?"

The idea of repatriating migrants – first put forward by the Alternative for Sweden party ahead of the 2018 elections – has been gaining momentum across Sweden.

In a recent opinion piece in Sweden’s daily newspaper Aftonbladet, Jimmie Åkesson, the leader of the nationalist-populist Sweden Democrats, called for “more reality-based immigration politics”. He also urged Swedes to overhaul any previously held perceptions on migration that they may have had in the past.

In the piece, Åkesson blames what he refers to as the man-made migrant crisis in Sweden on the ruling Social Democrats. At the same time, Åkesson welcomed the center-right Moderate party’s recent call to reduce asylum immigration, but ultimately referred to the proposal as “unambitious”.

For Åkesson, so long as the current situation in Sweden remains as problematic as it is today, the government should look to reduce the number of asylum seekers that it accepts down to zero.

According to professor Sheri Berman, Sweden is currently in the middle of a monumental demographic and cultural transformation as a result of mass migration that could very well cause the society to unravel.
Sheri Berman, a professor of Political Science at Columbia University who has studied and written extensively on Swedish society since the 1980s, says that Nordic country is currently experiencing a societal transformation the likes of which the world has never seen before.

During a recent appearance at the Gothenburg Book Fair, Berman told reporters from Svenska Dagbladet, “Today, your society looks dramatically different. It is a completely different country. The demographic change that Sweden has undergone in recent years is quite incredible.”

“To think that this kind of change could happen without any problems is unhistorical. It is a demographic experiment of historical dimensions,” Berman added.

There are 9.2 million Swedes.

Of this 1.9 million are foreign born.

Of this 1.1 million are Swedish citizens.

That leaves around 900k foreign born non citizens.. Which just happen to match the official number of foreigners in the country and that accounts to 9.1% of the population.

Now there is a stat called foreign background that lacks a real definition (that I can find), but I suspect that includes everyone that is remotely tainted with foreign DNA. This is about 25% of the population, but lacking definition and the above numbers, then I suspect that it includes any resident with any foreign DNA or links. So say your grandfather moved to Sweden from Denmark 60 years ago and started a family with Swedish nationality, then everyone in that family are "foreign".

Of this 1.955 million are foreign born, 19.1% of the population.
Of this 1.11 million are Swedish citizens.
Anther 0.588 million are Swedish born with both parents born abroad, 5.8%
Of these 2.54 million are of foreign background, which accounts for 24.9 of the population.

From 2010 to 2018, the foreign born population increased 30%, around 0.58 million people. That is what the article is all about, the change in demographics due to mass migration, which is changing the “societal transformation” of the country.
