Having been in the military or even being a Conservative supporter does not mean I have to have extreme right wing politics. Equally, many people who served with me and those I have met in the real world from a range of countries (including the US) don't have those extreme views either.

Now his claim that he has seen the 2016 numbers is from what I can see, utter bull****. I happen to read Swedish some what, and can use the webpage in question and there are no complete stats from 2016. There are some fragments and they actually show a decrease in rapes..ups!

So lets stick with the numbers that are out and official. Sexual crimes decreased from 2014 (6697) to 2015 (5918). Overall sexual crimes decreased also from 2014 (20326) to 2015 (18057).

That is an 11% decrease since you right wingers love your %.

And remember that Sweden registers each act of rape or sexual assault separately. This means if a woman gets raped by her husband twice a day for a year, then that is registered as 730 acts of rape. On top of that, what constitutes "sexual assault" in Sweden is very very very very broad compared to most other countries that Sweden is compared to. For example Julian Assange's case, would only be considered as sexual assault in one country... Sweden. He is accused of having consensual sex without a condom, where the woman "felt threatened" to do it without a condom. That is enough to charge him with rape in Sweden.

And a study from NTU(National Crime Survey) that shows statistics from 2005 – 2015 which shows a big increase in sexual crimes on women aged 16-64. This study only counts a person once so if they were assaulted more than once in that year it doesn’t show in the statistics.

• Women aged 16-24 – ~3.5%+ victims of crime in 2010-2012 up to 9%+ in 2015
• Women aged 25-44 – ~1.5%+ victims of crime in 2010-2012 up to 3.7%+ in 2015
• Women aged 45-64 – ~0.6%+ victims of crime in 2010-2012 up to 1.7%+ in 2015

Another NTU survey shows that not only have sexual crimes increased but that women are gradually less likely to report the crimes.

Estimated numbers of people exposed of sexual crimes have gradually increased from:

• 2015: 129 000
• 2014: 76 000
• 2013: 98 000
