How ridiculous can a country get?
Upon entering the US, Kjell Bondevik, an ex-Prime_Minister of Norway, was delayed an hour by Homeland Security and questioned about a visit he made to Iran in 2014. He was obliged to explain that his visit resulted from the fact that he was invited to speak at a Human Rights Conference.
Careful boys 'n girls, if you were ever working in any of those seven countries (Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Sudan and Somalia) and have an entry-permit stamped in your passport as well as if you want to go stateside, expect some "wait time" at customs. (If dark skinned you are also advised to shave of your black beard!)
This is not the first time that the US has banned foreigners from entering, but the sixth. See from "Al Jazeera" (of all people!) this report: Six other times the US has banned immigrants. Do read about the boat of Jewish refugees that was forbidden to enter the US in June of 1939.
They were forced to return to Germany ...
