UK- Afghan Migrant Attacked Police After Killing Woman in Netherlands

Your own "research" disproves your initial case.

So 6 years for kidnapping & murder had what effect on Mr Piruz? Did it rehabilitate him? I rather think those British police who caught his hammer blows with their bodies would disagree.

The sentence was the norm for such a crime. America's warped judgemental system which nonsensically sentences people to hundreds of years imprisonment for crimes, does not apply elsewhere.

Have no worries, plenty of people here receive light sentences for crime, and are back to reoffending in a short period of time. Happy?

She said he was jailed for 12 years, of which he served six, for killing his female tenant in 2006. He locked her in a room before slitting her throat.
Simon Blackford, defending, said his client was remorseful and "suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder" after witnessing the murder of his parents by the Taliban when he was 11.
Jailing Piruz for a minimum of six years, Judge Jeremy Gold QC said: "This was an incident of truly terrifying violence, the officers were in fear of their lives."
He said Piruz suffered "acute psychotic episodes" and told him: "You are potentially a very dangerous man."

Probably this Afghan man is suffering from PTSD just like Iraq War veterans and he is potentially a very dangerous man. The initial 12-year sentence was reduced to only 6 years, which seems to be a grave mistake in retrospect. He is now jailed for life as he's too dangerous to be out in the public.

The sentence was in line with normal protocols. Your idle speculation that it wasn't enough is meaningless.

Hardly speculation when he vacationed in your country to commit burglaries and attack police, innit?
