Around 3 p.m., Lukasz spoke to his wife. However, he did not pick up the phone when she called back an hour later.
The truck's GPS noted movement shortly before the unanswered call, Zurawski added.
"The car was started up, turned off, driven forward, then backward. As if someone was learning to drive it," he said. "I knew something was wrong."
After that point, the truck remained in place before heading to the Christmas market around 7:40 pm, where at least 12 people were killed.

Being parked in a heavy muslim area when his rig was hijacked, then the hijacker driving it through a Christmas market in combo clinches it.

This is going to be big with the Germans, especially coming as it does right on the heels of Frieburg.

Merkel is going to lose if she insists upon running.

It will be embarrassing.

So there you are, sitting at the table with your whole family, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, the whole fam damily, getting ready to eat Christmass dinner. Then, there's a knock at the door. You open it and are looking into the face of homeless man who fits the description of someone who attacked a family earlier that year. He asks to come in and join you, since he's hungry, homeless, cold. Half of your family is say "Oh hell no!!", while other half is saying "Let him in. He's cold and hungry and how can you be so homelessphobic." You decide to let him in. He sits down and politely joins you for dinner, complimenting you on the wonderful job you did on the prime rib (that olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary and garlic rub was wonderful), he even does all the dishes, telling everyone to sit down and enjoy "A Christmas Story" together while he took care of all the clean up. Then just as you hear those immortal words "You'll shoot your eye out." he pulls out the knife you used to carve the prime rib and starts stabbing people.

Now, he was clearly the one doing the stabbing, but don't you think that you bear some of the responsibility for what happened?? Had you chosen differently, the attack wouldn't have happened. No, you can't see the future, but you were given good advice to not let him in and had some evidence that he could be a major problem.

I remember reading a police report that mentioned they were the main source of money laundering in France. That day it answered the question that so many French people had asked themselves: why do we have so many of them when they have so few customers?

I can't comment on that but in Germany kebab places have been around for decades and the customers are accounted for. They're meanwhile primarily Germans, actually, and many have been witnessed actually eating the stuff.

I am happy to let the intelligent people who read these forums decide for themselves whether people who habitually leap to the defense of Islamic jihadists tend to share a political orientation, and if so, what that orientation is.
