Geert Wilders on Track to Become Next Prime Minister of the Netherlands[W:91]

And what if you guess wrong?

Enjoy the classic reaction to the generalized economic condition of miasma. Even General Franco is polling well in Spain.

It wont last, Europe is on the mend. As for the BS-artist Wilders, let's see what the actual election results show ...
Just to point out that the poster you're replying to is history. In case, that is, you were expecting any response.:)

History repeats itself. In fact, it has done nothing else but repeat itself time after time after time.

It is only the truly debile without any respect or understanding of history that fail to understand that firm rule of life-on-earth. (Present company excluded, of course! ;^)

We think we advance, but in fact, the advancement is a repetition of "two steps forward and one back". (We in the US just took a step backward into the Dark Past on November 8th.)

History repeats itself because we never learn adequately from the past. Santayana (philosopher) paraphrased: Those who refuse to understand history are condemned to repeat it ...

NB: Actually, his quotation goes: "Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it." Santayna probably assumed that if one can remember the past that intelligent beings can avoid future mistakes. Unfortunately for mankind, it doesn't work that way for most.

Trying to have a profound conversation with you has proven exasperating previously, [arduous like the two steps forward process you mention because when you reply, seems we always take one step back ]. I will make the attempt... history repeating itself, yanno.

Let us all hope for improvement.

Man makes technological advances, steadily, now at increasing rates. Yet we are beset with all the same frailties of our human nature that have always been present. So we do repeat while generally improving our own and, if we are smart /prevail, many of our fellows lots in this life.

A steady but slow progression, with our renaissances, reformations our enlightenment.

Americans, took those fertile seeds, planted in a bountiful garden fenced by two great oceans, east and west, weak neighbors, north and south. With the collaboration of great minds in compromise, we created something truly different/great, a non repetition of the past, to guide to step forward.

A simple guide, only 4543 words including signatures, 4 pages that took the baton from the Articles of Confederation, and has shepherded a good country to become the greatest force for good in planetary history.

Two steps forward IS progress, human progress. Should, at minimum, attempt to be maintained. Two steps forward then in a bloodbath solved our slavery problem while, a step backward, creating an imbalance in our federal system. Leading to the rise of the seemingly well intentioned, yet another step backward, Progressivism in the late 20th century. Thus, truly, we have made no further progress and have ONLY fallen back.

Then came the era of the one step forward, two steps back social planning of the future by elitist group think collectivists folk, that want, instead of progress for individuals, want elitists to decide for us our destiny... two stepping us back to a past of slavery, doing the will of the masters.

As to the OP, seems that the reason a Wilders types becoming more palatable in Europe, why a Trump became popular in the US, is because the powers that be, the established decision makers, living in comfortable, well guarded sanctums, cocooned in their own hypocritical self righteous rhetoric sanctimoniously preach oneness with our fellows, who are sometimes overtly are our mortal foes, and thereby allow Trojan horses to burrow in like termites undermining the strength of our well constructed pillars of liberty, choice, common ownership of our nations.

From protected enclaves faceless powers that be accuse the rest of irrationally, of fearing that which we, the still sighted, plainly see as brewing threats. Threats to our lives, our loved ones, threat to our cultures, to our freedoms.

And criticize as we grab for a life preserver, anyone available. We simply are not suicidal, individually or as nations. By ignoring the problem, the doctors of deceit have created the necessity of what they want to call the Frankensteins...

Well Doctors Frankenstein, you reap what you sow.

Well Doctors Frankenstein, you reap what you sow. If the vote is correctly tallied, I will go out on a limb and project a Trump landslide. Beat me up later if I am wrong...
Proud of yourself that you predicted Trump's election?

You certainly seem pleased with your achievement. Now, learn to live with it ...

Hey, I was, as the real, not your falsely quoted, post made very plain, willing to take credit or blame for making my prediction. For those of you who laughed, who heaped daily and constant disdain over those many months leading up to the election... yes, IN YOUR FACE.

That however, has nothing to do with the OP nor anything I actually asserted here on this thread.

Your reply only starts off, and incidentally ends, proving only the first point of my own post, that attempting to have anything approaching an enlightening conversation or deriving anything of worth ever coming from your side... well, the proof is in your petty reply to nothing I quoted, but instead continuing to cry over your understandable butt-hurtedness after we all watched your side getting its asses handed to it. In, oh, such an exquisitely beautiful and poetically just manner. OMG the meltdowns and sour pusses with tears, the MSM was glorious for once... hell, I would have paid good money to see that on pay per view were it not free. :lamo:lamo:lamo

BTW, Wilders et al will end all y'alls utopian hoping, ha ha ha, so guess you better start your mopping... ha ha ha, has a nice poetic ring to it as well, eh? :lamo :2wave:

Useless prattle ...

Yeah, the Catholic church was the pillar of tolerance during it's most powerful period :lamo

And why is that relevant today? It isn't. It is no more than an excuse for a problem you will not face.

Good news to hear over here; it tells us the Dutch are having second thoughts about letting leftist loons lead the country into mass cultural suicide. Things are looking up around Europe in general; I guess they are finally getting fed up with the kids running the asylum and feel the need to become adults again.

You really dont understand Dutch political parties do ya even a Dutch Conservative would be raging loon here in Trump land. In the Netherlands the alt right is eqauted with neo nazis, if the shoe fits.

It is Islam that has the commonality with Nazism.

Brilliant rebuttal ... !
Dude, I rebutted you in a decently long, almost character maximum, post and you took only my signature, not even a part of the thread, and shot your meaningless wad on that...

I ALREADY destroyed your argument here in my first post to you. The only thing left now is to parry your further stupidities tossed out when, after you decided you haven't a clue apparently, you understood my arguments so perfectly shored up that with a page length reply to your quote that you have be unable to find a single hole in which to exploit.

Either that or, put up or shut up, as they say. **** or get off the pot is another way to put it.

There, that make you feel better???. You, and most liberals on site, just waste our time when you could actually be doing something productive, posing good arguments, rebutting soundly, using sound reasoning, facts or at least bringing expert opinion to bear.

Or, if our arguments are so much better, change sides to become a winner.

Useless dialog. M... r... a...
Exactly. I will spell it out for you [ I have no idea what your m r a is, I don't do stupid speak]. YOU. HAVE. NOTHING. TO. SAY. PROVEN. BY. YOUR. RESPONSES. THIS. THREAD.

I would remind you this is a debate site. Hint: Facebook is the place for time wasters. BTW, if you send another stupid response like all the ones up until this point, do not expect the courtesy of a response, just know that it is too stupid.

Good luck with Geert and friends.

No, it just proves that it is not a religion that is the problem but the way people are raised under a religion and under a very undemocratic and human rights denying society/government.

Most Muslims are moderate and it is wrong to denounce an entire religion and an entire group of people based on the way a minority of them behaves/acts/commits crimes and terrorism.
