A new report from a coalition of Christians groups in Germany has found that 743 Christians and 10 Yezidis were victims of religiously motivated attacks in refugee camps so far this year.

"The situation of Christian refugees in German refugee shelters is still unbearable. As a minority they are discriminated against, beaten up by and receive death threats from Muslim refugees and partly by the Muslim staff (security, interpreters, volunteers) on grounds of their religion," the report says.

A few months back I posted a story about refugees who are atheist who said they had to pretend to pray 3 times a day or risk being targeted by radical Muslims in migrant camps. Christian migrants are reporting physical attacks.

Should Germany allow such intolerance from people who they saved from war?

Considering the influx of refugees since September last year, a percentage of 0.8 pct of such occurences seems expectable.

That's not to belittle even one of the occurrences and not to belittle the obvious naivete of German authorities in not realizing the necessity of providing separate accommodations.

Yet, overtaxed as they are, threats of any kind (death threats included) are presumably not number one on the agenda.

For information's sake, 314 death threats were reported, 416 physical attacks and 44 sexual attacks. The numbers surpass 743 since some of the transgressions were repetitive (more than one with some individual victims).

As to the question whether Germany should allow any of it, that is of the usual "loaded" nature that threads of this kind are all about.

The insinuation that Germany is inclined to allow any of it is not only absurd but constitutes the usual dishonest slander one has come to expect.
