Russia Warns US Not to Intervene in Syria, Threatens to Shoot Down Any Airstrike Attempts

Russia has warned the United States not to intervene militarily in Syria against forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad, threatening that it may shoot down any aircraft attempting to launch strikes. In a bluntly worded statement, a spokesman for Russia’s defense ministry warned that Russia and the Syrian government had deployed sufficient air defenses to block any potential attacks.

First of all Russia can go **** themselves in general. The one thing I do agree with is that the U.S. should not get involve in the Syrian conflict at all. This is a situation that Russia wins no matter what the U.S. does. If the U.S. tries to do something, we won't directly go against Russia or the Syrian regime which means Russia wins and if we don't do anything about it Russia gets to say "See, we ordered the U.S. to do something....and they did it".
 
Perspective. Syria and Russia are fighting ISIS terrorsts and foreign funded, armed and trained terrorists in Syria. Russia was invited to help in Syria. The USA, Turkey and others illegally occupy portions of Syria and have been requested to leave. Syria has not attacked nor threatened the USA. US/NATO shot down a Russian jet. USA attacked Syrian troops during the ceasefire at Dier ez Zoar. USA has supplied terrorists in Syria, especially Aleppo, and strengthened them during every ceasefire. This is not a Civil War but an insurrection inspired, funded, armed and trained by foreign adversaries of Syria. The USA, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey are the culprits behind this war. We know that the wars in the MidEast have nothing to do with OIL, eh????? We're just over there killing these people for humanitarian purposes, like pipelines and war business, eh?

And I suppose that the guy who inherited the title of "President for Life" and who refused to make any real political reforms had nothing to do with it? That aside, I"ll take Assad over ISIS any day.

Perspective. Assad is butchering his own people and it is OK since it is a Middle Eastern dictator doing it.
