Bjorn Lomborg Declares “False Alarm” on Climate Hysteria

When I was a child, we truly feared on a daily basis we would vanish to the power of the mighty H Bomb and A bombs.

Today children cringe that they will fry to death in climate doom, all caused by man.

This is a good person to watch. Bjorn Lomborg has always taken a pragmatic approach to this.

Watch Greta Thunberg go wild over climate. She is as fearful as a 17 year old over climate as I was over the H bomb.

Well the H bomb has never fallen to destroy humans.

Climate will never fall to harm man either.

I am not sure why you are interested in this video. This Lomborg guy is not saying it's not a problem. At best, he is saying "it is a chronic problem that needs attention and focus."

Can we all agree on that point?

And he says to stop spending far too much money on it and focus on improving human lives instead.

Did you believe I do not accept Bjorn Lomborg in the main? You hint I do not agree with him.
 
Assume for a base line, you spend $0 per annum for global warming.

Per $10,000 of your income, what amount are you willing to spend on "combating global warming?

If you earn $60,000 per annum, which many do earn, would you personally donate say $10,000 per year if you accepted it could cool earth?
 
Nobody alive today needs to worry about climate change. What they need to worry about are engineered viruses and peaceful protesters taking over their cities.

If you ignore it, it's going to cost you a lot more than that.

It's the same kind of shortsighted thinking that has led to other countries shutting down their economies for a bit longer and now being free of the virus, and the US being the international hotspot and killing fields for it.

Not all of the USA, just the areas where Democrats manage states.

Countries for the most part do not have states with vast powers. We have states that have vast powers to open or close.

People have been dealing with changes in the climate since there have been people. Let's deal with it after we've gotten everyone converted to veganism.

What most people who disagree with the climate change catastrophe alarmist mean is that the danger is not earth ending and not nearly the problem the alarmist present it as. There are numerous climate scientist who share that view and are immediately proclaimed "nuts" because their data and their studies don't support doom and gloom.
The lack of honest debate in favor of spreading fear of destruction in 10 years always fail to discuss issues like base energy loading. You simpley cannot do away with carbon fuels becaue you will never be able to power the earth. The best answer to carbon fuels is nuclear power. It's abundant and clean. From what I know, it was primarily a big city problem at first- which is primarily controlled by Dems. But now it's everywhere. But correct me if I am wrong. Show me some charts or graphs.

Modern technology is what's different now than in the past. The industrial revolution was a game changer.

Trump is practical. The Paris Accords more than worthless never would have happened at all. Nobody is stopping the French from kicking down the doors to get er done.
