Some have always gone overboard on certain issues. But businesses and political allies also have interests that have them denying science when it is in their best interests, from tobacco to smog to auto safety and on to climate. Skeptics have the ability to make public their concerns. Inhofe, instead of having hearings to expose the alleged fraud or exaggeration, brings a snowball to congress in January. Trump comments on a patch of cold weather. Gotta do better than that. Commission a study. Prepare to blow the phony science out of the water at the next Paris-like meeting. Do a better measure of ice in Antartica. Close the northwest passage again. Explain how such a massive fraud took over the world's thinkers. They think there is some damage that might be done. You disagree, so show us how it would be minimal.

I agree, but for much of the public, idiotic comments do more harm than good to the skeptics' side of the argument. If advising them, my suggestion would be to hold hearings, commission more studies, instead of stuff like Trump calling the theory a hoax invented by the Chinese. Then again, Trump is hardly a deep study on anything, so what do I expect?

Lets start off by saying that there is NO word less "scientific" than "denier". It tells us just how much BS is involved in this , so called , "science"

the IPCC folks tell us we MUST lower world CO2 output by 50% by 2030. Previously the same idiots had said 85% by the year 2000

The real Question is what can the US, which produces 16% of world CO2 , do with or without the EU, to lower world CO2 with China and India etc. increasing output? the answer is NOTHING , and the Obama EPA Chief admitted just that.

Costs associated with the Green New Deal
1. 100% use electricity created by only wind and solar. No fossil fuels used for heating or cooling, and all done in 10 years (Warren give us until 2035 for completion). Complete Destruction of the fossil fuel industry in the US, including closing every gas, oil, coal and nuclear power plant . Physically impossible and would destroy numerous industries and cost millions of jobs. And there is a power density problem

2. replace all cars that burn fossil fuels within 10 years. We have over 250,000,000 of those, more every day , with avg life if 15 years each . Hope ya like tiny electric cars, or very small SUVs costing 40K. Oh you like bigger SVUs, Trucks and Vans? Pffffttttt They are OUT. Cost to replace with small electric cars is about 10 Trillion or more, paid for by who?

3. retrofit or rebuild every single home/building in the US to the new green standard. Cost? Untold Trillions

4. eliminate the sale or use of beef products/milk as we eliminate Cows
