I've noticed this right here. There's probably a couple things at work. One, some people mistrust education in general and science in particular, maybe because an education in science was unavailable to them for whatever reason. They either slough science off as unnecessary and probably politically motivated or they find a pseudo-science they can understand that confirms what they believe about mainstream science.
Two, some wealthy people with big financial stakes in the scenario try to enlist support for their denial agenda. The other side of the "If you're so smart why ain't you rich?" coin is, "If you're so rich you must be smart!" and some people want to be seen to be smart themselves by agreeing with wealthy, powerful people.
And some people are just deliberately contrarian, trying to be separate from "the herd".

Anyone who believes either one of those things is probably an idiot, yes, just as big an idiot as those who deny both threats.

People have different levels of comfort with risk.

Those who you call Deniers are of course Skeptics. That you need to mis lable us shows how despirate you are to feel superiour. To avoid any discussion. That is because you know you will lose.

Those of us who are pancied about the tought of a sea level rise of 2 feet over a century are also paniced about a chance od death of 0.01%.

Personally I work on building sites. People die on them quite often. I get burnt and cut as a matter of course in my work. I have to be OK in confinded spaces and at height. Occaional electric shocks happen.

The level of risk aversion explains a lot about the mentality of both Skeptics and Panicers. In fact climate panicers may well be a better description than Alarmists. Sums up the mind set better.

You are unable to articulate your points just link to stuff you hope backs you up.

Can you possibly look at the amount of precipitation that falls on Greenland? Can you then possibly apply logic to see if that is more or less than the max possible outflow from the place? Is that at all possible for your range of logic?

Nowhere in logic does it allow you to simply demand that your authority or anybody else's is superiour.
