That's funny. If you search for "projected coal usage in India", the majority of links has coal increasing... dramatically...
Coal to dominate India power to 2030 despite renewables boost - The Economic Times
Bloomberg - Are you a robot?
You own source show that the share of electricity that comes from coal will drop to 50 percent and more then 40 percent of electricity will come from renewables by 2030. While India is still a developing countries and will have sharp increase in demand for energy and electricity. So total emissions likely will continue to increase but a much lower level than without renewable energy. There the massive investment in renewable energy also continue so hopefully the increase in C02 emission can be even lower.
