New green technology generates electricity 'out of thin air'

Well, we will have to wait for any possible actual working thing.

That is working in the way of being at all useful.

I see idea like this come and go all the time. I equate it to using antennas and diodes and getting power out of the air.

It may have a practical application for spies. A small trickle charge to miniature battery and circuit, can digitally record audio, and then the battery charges enough, send a single microsecond transmission to a receiver, with very little power, and continually recharge and do it over and over for decades.

There are 10.7 square feet per square meter, so a square meter would be .0085 X 10.7=.09 watts per square meter.

Well, actually since it started metric... just multiply by 10.

1,000 sq cm x 10 = 10,000 sq cm.

100 cm = 1 meter.

100 x 100 = 10,000.
