The Climate Ministry of Truth Is Being Created

The reference to the book 1984 is misleading. They are not asking Google to censor or remove climate warming disinformation. They are asking them to stop paying for disinformation.

This is no different from Youtube stopping incentivizing the anti-vaccination disinformation videos.

Would you agree that paying them to spread bad science to mislead the populace is a bad idea?

Google is a private entity and as such can pay or not pay for anything they choose.

The first amendment starts with "Congress shall make no law". Congress is attempting to make law.

Trump is never relevant to a climate discussion.

Trump is a climate denier who is president of the most powerful military on the planet...

He is super relevant to the discussion.

It makes me wonder how long it will be before they want to count all Covid-19 deaths on climate change?

They won’t need to...

The raising temperatures, sea levels and more powerful storms will handle all of that they could want.

No. I'm following the science.

BWAHAHAHAHA

the science from any conspiracy site that says the vast leftist Illuminati is trying to destroy America!!!

Lol

That is the theory! The problem with that theory is that the temperature rise is too slow, and mostly affects evening and winter low temperatures,
The sea level rise has been very steady since long before the CO2 levels started increasing,
and storms are not any more powerful, (Storms are costing more because people want to live on the coast).

His climate views have no significance for the climate debate.

But February was also the hottest month on record.. sooo.. lol

Well, no.

[h=2]UAH Global Temperature Update for February 2020: +0.76 deg. C[/h]March 2nd, 2020The Version 6.0 global average lower tropospheric temperature (LT) anomaly for February, 2020 was +0.76 deg. C, up considerably from the January, 2020 value of +0.57 deg. C.
This is the warmest monthly anomaly since March 2016 (+0.77 deg. C), and the warmest February since 2016 (+0.86 deg. C), both due to El Nino warmth. Continuing weak El Nino conditions are also likely responsible for the current up-tick in temperature, as I recently demonstrated here.

Has nothing to do with rightists or leftists, or politics of any kind. Indeed, insofar as their politics are known, the scientists I find most persuasive are Euro-style Social Democrats.

[h=1]Andrew Dessler: Climate Alarmist as Energy Expert (Part I)[/h]Reposted from Master Resource. By Robert Bradley Jr. — May 27, 2020 The idea of presenting both sides of the debate in the name of scholarship is a non-starter with Andrew Dessler because the science is ‘settled,’ climate models have the correct physics, and he knows all he needs to in regard to climate economics,…

The first amendment starts with "Congress shall make no law". Congress is attempting to make law.

Wow! 86 posts before someone actually brings up the relevant issue:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting
the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or
the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for
a redress of grievances.
The operative words are, "Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of the press."
Jimbo makes the very important point that Congress is attempting to make law abridging
what the press does. Congress can't tell the Washington Post what stories it shall or shall
not not run above the fold and by the same token it can't tell Google and The YouTube how
to run their recommendation algorithms.

For sure!!

How many times has trump claimed to be a genius lmao!!

Can you imagine what future generations who read his speeches will think??

“I am the smartest person ever.. everyone says I’m soo smart! Everyone says I’m the smartest person they know...
no one is better than me.”

I don’t care what President a college professor chooses to compare and contrast with trumps speeches.. Trump will look like he is retarded.

[h=1]Judge finds fact-faking Facebook “fact-check” false[/h]By Christopher Monckton Die Welt reports that The Regional Court of Appeal in Karlsruhe has ruled against a fact-faking “fact-check” on Facebook.
