Why I'm a "denier"

How would you asses the impact of adding a Zettajoule to the surface of the world's oceans over a year. How much temperature change would you expect?

Ask Dr. Emmett Brown.

OK, you demonstrate that you have zero clue about physics.

Sea levels have risen about 5 inches since 1940. This isn't enough to do much yet. However, if the Greenland ice sheets collapse and we lose the arctic, sea levels will rise by 20 feet.

Do you think that there is any science to support that idea that that is at all likely? At all possible?

Incremental adjustments = more severe hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, etc.

They have been getting less.

If you try to find any science to explain the mechanism for this supposed increase you will draw a blank.

It's smazing how all the free-thinking conservatives all come to the same conclusion at the same time and it always just happens to correspond word for word with the GOP platform.

Likewise for the other way around. It's almost like this isn't the science issue it is a partisan issue.

And again, that rate is going in increase with warming, and is going to be a lot bigger if the ice sheet fully or partially collapses.

Not going to collapse. From #121:

It's going the other way.

[h=4]Rapid cooling in the North Atlantic has reversed regional sea level changes and has apparently spread to the Greenland ice sheet.[/h]

[h=6]Image Source: Chafik et al. (2019)[/h]Despite stressing global sea level rise is worrisome and due to anthropogenic warming, Chafik et al. (2019) report a distinct cooling trend in the North Atlantic that coincides with a transition to falling regional sea levels since 2004.

[h=6]Image Source: Chafik et al. (2019)[/h]Meanwhile, Ruan et al. (2019) attribute the rapid deceleration in Greenland ice sheet melt since 2013 to the -2.0°C North Atlantic cooling that apparently has begun affecting the Arctic.

Do you think that there is any science to support that idea that that is at all likely? At all possible?

It all really depends on how much you see temperatures going up. In earth's past the arctic and even the antarctic have been ice free.

So I ask agian do think there is any possibility of all the Greenland ice melting in a million years? Due to human activity as per what is happening now.

Do you think there is any science to support this?

Simple yes or no will do fine.

When you ask a dumb question, expect a sarcasm.

I will.

However, when I ask a simple question to check your claim and get an evaisive attempt at scarcasm I will conclude you have no clue about science at all.

I don't remember claiming to be a physicist.

Oh that one? I have two degrees in math/CS with a minor in physics. General Relativity was too easy.

Looks like advanced physics is too hard for you. Don't worry. You'll eventually get there.

But you are unable to demonstrate that you have the slightest clue about physics. You claim things that are false. That you know to be false.

Why are you upset? You can attend a college, you know?

How would you calculate the impact of adding 1 Zettajoule of heat to the surface of the world's oceans over a year?

Just the very basic stuff, you know specific heat capacity etc. Just stuff that a decent plumber knows. Just stuff that incompetant fools who have no clue at all have no clue about.

Why are you upset? I am a nobody. You can ask the real physicists your question.

So you are not somebody with "two degrees in math/CS with a minor in physics. General Relativity was too easy." that would be you l***g(I am not allowed to use the word for people who knowingly make false claims) then. No surprise, no doubt you will claim it was sarcasm.

You make claims that are false because you think they will make the rest of your message credible. When it is shown that you have done this you claim it was sarcasm. Nope just false.

So you're upset with the fact that I have two degrees with a minor in physics? I am failing to understand why you are upset with that?

You do not have a degree in any sort of science subject. That is utterly plain.
