It amazes me that as many times as the whole conversation was shown in context, people like you still believe the lie told about him by the pundits.
What continually amazes me is both sides going to straight to their respective extremes rendering any real conversation on climate as fruitless.
Between one side running from lunch with big oil to the floor of the senate with a snowball in hand as 'evidence' that nothing is happening, and then the other trying to terrify everyone into thinking in 50 years we can have oceanfront condos in Tennessee, there is no longer any means to advance a conversation on what we can do.
Even if we did absolutely everything the climate panic extreme team suggests... all tomorrow... there is still a significant function of this planets climate models we cannot control. Science, that silly little subject this conversation tends to ignore, tells us this earth has seen long periods of time much hotter and others periods much colder than what we have experienced.
Humanity can elect to be reasonable and responsible. We can choose to have a surrounding that has at least some interest in our environmental surroundings, small changes over time that should at least have some downstream benefits to natural resources we need even if it takes generations to be realized.
So we turned to politicians... and this is the **** we get back.
