Arctic Cold Smashes October Records in the West, Plains

It amazes me that as many times as the whole conversation was shown in context, people like you still believe the lie told about him by the pundits.

What continually amazes me is both sides going to straight to their respective extremes rendering any real conversation on climate as fruitless.

Between one side running from lunch with big oil to the floor of the senate with a snowball in hand as 'evidence' that nothing is happening, and then the other trying to terrify everyone into thinking in 50 years we can have oceanfront condos in Tennessee, there is no longer any means to advance a conversation on what we can do.

Even if we did absolutely everything the climate panic extreme team suggests... all tomorrow... there is still a significant function of this planets climate models we cannot control. Science, that silly little subject this conversation tends to ignore, tells us this earth has seen long periods of time much hotter and others periods much colder than what we have experienced.

Humanity can elect to be reasonable and responsible. We can choose to have a surrounding that has at least some interest in our environmental surroundings, small changes over time that should at least have some downstream benefits to natural resources we need even if it takes generations to be realized.

So we turned to politicians... and this is the **** we get back.

Literally every single year there's a thousand right wing morons who don't understand what the **** winter is.

I mean, year after year, season after season, for thousands of years nonstop, people have been worrying about the weather. Well, there is good news, folks. There has been no appreciable change in the seasonal weather patterns for as long as mankind can remember.

That's not true.

From your source:

She's talking about the millennials. See the quote right there? She never said the world is going to end in 12 years. Sorry. Try again.

Edit - I just realized that it even says so right there in the headline!!!!! :lamo

LOL your own quote proves you wrong- seems your reading comprehension is just as bad as your English.

"Millennials and Gen Z and all these folks that come after us are looking up, and we're like, 'The world is going to end in 12 years if we don't address climate change, and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?' " she said.

AOC is part of the "we're." You need to take remedial English classes.

OMG, this clearly shows that there is no climate change!!!!! Those stupid scientists don't know what they're talking about, they're just trying to get more grant money. It's been cold in some places this year, there cannot be climate change!
Climate changes constantly, always has, even before man or SUVs.

Then why did the headline you provided tells us otherwise?
You got caught in a lie or an error and you are denying it.

The USA Today writer of the said headline is correct, AOC said it since she included herself in that quote. The only thing that is clear is your horrible reading comprehension.

That's not true.

Really? You don't believe the earth has seen no major climate changes since the ice age except for the fact that it has been steadily growing warmer at a barely perceptible rate?

Do you believe the earth was once hot as hell but cooled off enough to make life possible? What caused such drastic changes in the climate in the past?

Elementary physics.

If global warming is reason for the melting Arctic ice, why is Antarctica not cooperating?

Researchers reported December 21, 2012 in*Nature Geoscience*that from 1958 to 2010, the average temperature at the mile-high*Byrd Station*rose by 2.4 degrees Celsius, with warming fastest in its winter and spring. The spot which is in the heart of the*West Antarctic Ice Sheet*is one of the fastest-warming places on Earth.[12][13][14]

The article link I put out has taken their graphs from researchers at the University of Colorado, so your argument fails.

So?

Did it cause more melting?

Tell me. If the average temperature is around -20C, how much faster will the ice melt at -17.6C?

Besides. It appears you have forgotten that they speak of only the areas affected by the Ring of Fire...
