Over 500 Climate Scientists Declare There is no Climate Emergency

The group’s letter warns the U.N. that “the general-circulation models of climate on which international policy is at present founded are unfit for their purpose”.

The Declaration adds that the models, which have predicted far more warming than they should (see diagram), “are not remotely plausible as policy tools”, in that “they ... exaggerate the effect of greenhouse gases such as CO2” and “ignore the fact that enriching the atmosphere with CO2is beneficial”.

Yup, so it looks like the usual fallacies that the climate nuts who claim "tens of thousands of scientists believe in a climate emergency" IS FAKE.

The truth is there are many scientists who are skeptical of the apocalypse. Fact.

Now let's see what fallacies the lemmings will come up with... probably ad homs, strawmen, shoot the messenger, argumentum ad populum, etc. which is their usual BS.

Of the 400 signatories, only a handful have a background in climate science, with the majority being writers, engineers and geologists with no direct expertise in the*field.
 
German signatories to the letter include a spokesperson for the*European Institute for Climate and Energy*(EIKE), which a*Der Spiegel*investigation*earlier this year found had been working closely with the insurgent, far-right*Alternative for Germany*party to campaign against action on climate*change.

Yep, there is scientific proof that improperly politically aligned scientists (and you have certainly claimed to have found one) are always wrong. ;)

Let's have a look at number one in the list, shall we? "Rob Lemeire, Publicist on Environmental and Climate Issues, ECD Ambassador" A civil engineer, apparently. Perhaps you can find his list of publications on climate science? I can't, and I doubt very much that they exist. He is no climate scientist.

A far worse sin than being bought off by leftists - those evil proponents of capitalism are not real scientists since they are incorrectly funded. It is a proven, scientific fact that the funding source of a scientist determines the validity of their findings - only those who conclude that socialism is best can be trusted.

Is every single scientist on the IPCC a climate scientist too? One of their assessment authors is Jan-Gunnar Winther, who has a construction engineering degree.

But I'll go ahead and humor you- that's one- what about the other 499?

Stop wriggling. Nobody claimed that every single scientist on the IPCC is a climate scientist, but you have claimed in the thread header that the signatories of this declaration are climate scientists. I have have already shown that the first signatory is not a climate scientist, thus proving you wrong. No doubt most of the other signatories are not climate scientists either, but one is sufficient to prove you wrong.
