Renewable Energy and Electric Cars Pressure Oil Economically as Well as Environmentally

Oh so whenever someone has any ideas you attempt to delegitimize it in some way?

So can I ask what kind of answer would have met your high standards as non-activist/non-agenda? Should I say "No we shouldn't do anything!"
We should do what is necessary, but the AGW scare would have people do so much that is necessary.

Well, I guess we agree: the issue of AGW "would have people do so much that is necessary".

Thanks!

Germany got almost half of their electricity needs from renewable energy last year.

While over half of all new cars in Norway was electric.

Yes we know. Been over this before, a year or two ago. Do you really want governments that authoritarian here?

Norway have the top spot at the democracy index and Germany also ranks higher than the US on the list.

There both countries also rank higher than US on the best country for business list.

That at the same time even Republicans states sees the great benefits with renewable energy.

So?

You claimed that Norway and Germany was authoritarian so I showed that both countries rank on rankings like Democracy index. There those countries also rank very high on World Press Freedom Index.

That you are instead seeing links between far rights movements and climate change denialism.

Also show support a quick transition away from fossil fuels if you are against authoritarian regimes. Because western oil money has and continue to fund some of the world's most brutal dictatorships.

That doesn't mean they aren't sliding backwards.

Countries like Portugal, France, Slovakia, the UK, Ireland and Italy are closing down their coal plants.

While at the same time more and more people want to change their life styles.
