A New Low in Consensus Enforcement

I’m sorry that you snowflakes are so threatened by a 16 year old girl telling the world about the state of the science.

Maybe you can go to your safe space filled with anonymous bloggers and whine about it there.

Your indifference to fairness and decency is unsurprising.

[h=1]See how climate science becomes alarmist propaganda[/h]From The Fabius Maximus website Larry Kummer, Editor Climate change, Science & Nature 18 August 2019 Summary: Our elites believe they can shape our minds through propaganda. This is most obvious in the barrage of exaggerations and misrepresentations of climate science, designed to panic us into approving the Green New Deal. Here is an example…

And you think somehow pretending a blogger is an authority means something.

If the blogger is the Chairman of the Raccah Center for Physics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and IBM Einstein Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study, yes.

I had read somewhere that the stories will continue to ramp up towards September before some upcoming climate conference.

Looks like this is what you are referring to:

Transforming the media’s coverage of the climate crisis

A focused week of coverage

We’ll work to organize as much of the news media as possible—large and small, national and local—to commit to one week of focused coverage of climate change this September. The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, is convening a summit in New York on September 23, where nations are urged to show how they will limit global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius. We propose a week of concentrated climate coverage in the lead-up to the UN summit, beginning September 16.

If you are a journalist, here’s what we’re looking for: Can you and your news outlet sign as a partners of Covering Climate Now, and build the network by encouraging others to do the same? Can you commit to the week of focused climate coverage in September? Can you share your climate content with other outlets that may lack your resources? Can you help us organize a conference on covering climate change in your region, and encourage your media counterparts to join us?

If you are a scientist, will you be a resource journalists can call when reporting a climate story? Will you share your expertise with Covering Climate Now as we prepare our briefing materials for journalists on the climate beat? Will you appear at any of the conferences we will be organizing in media markets around the country and abroad? Will you urge other scientists to join these efforts?

If you are an advocate or a government or business official, will you be a resource for journalists reporting a climate story? Will you share your observations for our handbook? Will you appear at any of the conferences we will be organizing, and spread the word about our efforts?

If you’re a private citizen, will you work with your local news outlet to think through how to improve their climate coverage, and organize other people in your community to do the same?

The damage gets more and more exposed, amazing that some warmists here thinks it is GOOD to destroy freedom of speech and prevent publishing anything from a blacklist. I am sure Dalton Trumbo is spinning in his grave now....., the person who write this article below has been libeled a second time in two years. I bet warmists don't care, because they are part of the propaganda machine, whether they realize it or not.

Blacklist by Nature follows defamation by BioScience: journals reject ethics of science

August 17, 2019

EXCERPT:

Along with hundreds of other people – 385 to be exact – I have been blacklisted [#181] by the science journal Nature Communications in a recently-published abysmal paper by three authors from University of California Merced, after I and a number of others were publicly defamed by a squadron of authors in a similarly-stupid paper less than two years ago in the general interest journal BioScience. This obsession that scientists-with-a-message have about silencing peers with other viewpoints (rather than constructing and communicating a winning argument themselves) is vile and utterly counter to what real science is about. Not surprisingly, they positively fawn over media stars like Al Gore and Greta Thunberg who have no science background but willingly repeat the accepted message of climate-change-doom.

[h=1]Has Nature Communications committed reckless endangerment?[/h]By Christopher Monckton of Brenchley Here is an update on the case against Nature Communications and against the soi-disant “University” of California at Merced and various of its denizens in respect of a lamentable purported “study” that is in reality an unveiled personal attack on climate skeptics. The following letter, sent by me today (28…
