The Left is coming for your toilet paper

A marketing gimmick for bidet toilet seats. ONLY $1000.

Why am I not surprised they didn't claim the New York Times usage of paper is destroying all the trees?

Toilet paper is WAY down the list of paper usage. The biggest waste of paper and plastic likely is in product packaging materials.

This is gona be fun in California when they have another drought.

This thread went in the crapper..........:lamo

"They aren't going to leave us alone about this. And like Venezuela, they mean to create shortages from excessive government regulation, same reason Venezuela has them. Worst of all, their 'narrative' is going to get louder as Bernie and Sandy and the rest of them embrace it. Make America Venezuela again..."

VENEZUELA!!! NOOOO!!!!

Gotta love American "Thinker"

When I was first in Europe I thought the bidet was the urinal...

A relatively benign error compared to what happens when some non-Westerners encounter Western style plumbing.
I'll spare you the gory details :lamo

Well for a brief second I thought it was a drinking fountain, could have gone a lot worse than it did...

True story: My mother was assigned to Berlin in late 1945. She was a secretary. She arrived as the Russians were evacuating what was to become the US Zone. Before the Russians left, they took everything that wasn’t nailed down. This included ripping all plumbing fixtures out of the houses and shops. There were truck-loads of toilets heading east. They (Russians) had never seen a porcelain convenience. Not sure how it worked out when they got them home......

Don't they use leaves???

Oh wait toilet paper is trees, I'm confused...

I use wipes, no matter where I am in the world, because I'm a civilized human being.

Toilet paper is a symptom. The source is fatass gluttonous Americans shoving animals in the bloated stomachs all day. A nation of pigs is the source.

"I need triple ply and a high flush toilet to clean up the carnivore feces produced by my fat ass!"

Great, America.

FFS, lighten up.

FFS, lighten up.

Tell that to America, especially when they cry about fecal assistance.

You know this isn't in the Joke subforum, right? But maybe fatass America crying about toilet paper should be.

Truth be told, a toilet apparatus which is lower to the ground does improve the position you're in because it is closer to squatting, but seeing evidence that people have been standing on the seat rim and squatting doesn't make my day.

Have some tofu and kale, you’ll feel better.

So we can imagine the path ahead from this moment.

Single use toilet paper made of cellulose is banned.

Paper-like disposable plastic toilet paper is now produced and sold that almost feels acceptable.

Non-Recyclable single use of paper of any type is banned, and reusable and returnable toilet "paper" (with deposit) is mandated.

Producers and consumers adapt to the Roman method, a rag on a stick plopped in a water bucket next to the toilet.

Rag on a stick may be returned for recycling and consumer will get back their deposit.

Oh joy, greens and government have saved humanity from authentic toilet paper.

I won't be crying about not having enough toilet paper to wipe a greasy ass, that's for sure.

Yep I have read of the same thing. I recall a quote of some Russian solider who was stunned upon his entry into Germany. Germans had indoor plumbing, solid homes, manicured plantings... etc. He wondered what in the world Russia had that such a prosperous country could possibly want?

If we wanted the TP, we'd have it all. Then the american thinker wouldn't think that it was quite so funny.

So the story is about a tweet to a tweet to a tweet. No proposed legislation or regulation. Much ado about nothing...

Typical right wing lies, that was obvious just from the title.

Just passing the facts.

Climate Craziness of the Week
Friday Funny – @NRDC Now it’s toilet paper causing ‘climate change’

From the ‘climate change is the universal boogeyman’ department comes this ridiculous claim from the National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) Now the left wants to tell us how to wipe, and people aren’t having it. Some of the responses are hilarious, others are in the vein of “WTF is wrong with you people?”. They’ve really…
