Decades ago, the UN promised climate disaster; so why hasn't it arrived?

It is not a 20 year "snapshot" it represents 136 years of record keeping since 1880. That is more than enough to see the trend.

Nonsense these natural trends can often last for many centuries and for the last 3 centuries we have been experiencing a natural recovery from one of the coldest dips in the post glacial temperature period. The little ice age

Current temperatures are well within normal natural climate variability in both their level and rate of change as Greenland ice core data from recent millennia clearly illustrates
