The fake Nobelist is becoming increasingly unbalanced, it would seem. After his dishonest testimony before Congress, he has called for on-line mob action against Judith Curry. Her offense? Telling the truth.

Here is what the US National Climate Assessment says about the "hurricane drought" -- Curry was on very solid ground, Mann was clearly wrong.https://science2017.globalchange.gov/chapter/9/

Here is Mann just now in the 1st of about a dozen tweets calling for an online pile-on of Judy Curry using a hashtag to do so.
This is disgusting. It is outright harassment & unacceptable.
Is there not a single climate scientist out there who will call this out as improper?

The OP source is a tinfoil hat site that peddles conspiracy theories. How about a credible source instead.

How about you rise above YOUR prejudice and provide credible sources worth discussing first? Your source is untrustworthy because of a track record that raises concerns about what relevant details it’s leaving out or how it may be misrepresentation?

Instead of shooting the messenger, why dont you try and actually refute what's in the article? It uses direct twitter quotes from those involved.

My experience is that it’s a pointless exercise to try to discuss the contents of a disreputable source because it’s history of misrepresentations (eg, omitting inconvenient facts and presenting other factoids out of context). That is the case here.

Is there anyone who still really believes anything Mann says? His latest caper - requesting a "pile-on" of Judith Curry by other climate scientists - says more about his disgusting unscientific methods than anything else he could have done! This will not be ignored, nor should it be! Curry has never bad-mouthed anyone that I'm aware of, and she has never lied when giving testimony to Congress or any other group either! Can Mann say the same?

Excellent post mortem. While John Christy continues to testify since (he says) it allows facts to be entered into the congressional record for historical preservation, like you I feel the process is a largely a waste of time. Politicians live and die by what appears in the press, which makes “journalists” some of the most powerful people in the political process. Maybe that’s why Mann appealed to op-eds as his main source of evidence.

Mann was done the moment we found out that his graph was crooked and biased removing heat from past data points and pushing it forward.
he has 0 credibility to his name.

so that it didn't matter what the data set was you would always get a hockey stick graph.
