Wind farms will cause more environmental impact than previously thought

When George Orwell wrote “Animal Farm” he chose the windmill to represent the boondoggles
that oppressive governments promote in order to create an appearance of progress.

underscore:

“Wind beats coal by any environmental measure ..."

Nope.Coal plants don't need nearly as much acreage to produce the same power.

ALL of the wind farms in Washington combined do not produce the same power as a single mid-sized coal plant.

Which won't happen, which is why the researchers say it's unlikely that we'll ever have enough wind power to raise the temperature by that potential 0.24 degrees Celsius.

So that's why they say that people need to consider localized effects of so much windpower, since there will probably only ever be localized effects.

So you have no problem with coal, oil, or natural gas to supplement what wind power produces?
