Many people believe in Christianity. They all agree that Jesus Christ existed, and the He is who He says He is (namely the Son of God). There is consensus. Therefore, according to your definition of 'science', it is proven science.
Many people believe in atheism. They all agree that no god or gods exist. There is consensus. Therefore, according to your definition of 'science', it is proven science.
Paradox.
No, consensus is not used in science. No one votes on a theory of science. There are no elite gatekeepers for any theory of science. No theory of science is ever proven, sanctified, blessed, or otherwise made more legitimate by any consensus at all.
