I reply to what I'm sent. Our environment has been steadily improved over the last many decades.

The fact that Watt's site regularly hosts contributors with no scientific expertise, such as "Lord" Christopher Monckton, pretty much precludes it from consideration as a serious scientific website. It's a spoof site. You'd have to be gullible in the extreme to actually consider it to be an accurate source of information!

You know what? World temperatures have been on a warming trend
since the current instrument record started. Granted temperatures
declined from 1880 to 1910, and similarly declined from 1945 to
1975, but mostly it's increased over all that time about a degree.
So any year stands a good chance of being the warmest ever. It's
sort of like climbing a mountain, you will be the highest you've ever
been on the trek most every step you take. The issue is how high the
mountain and how big the steps. Sooner or later the temperature will
stop going up and the hiker will reach the summit.

What you guys need to do is demonstrate why a warmer world is a
looming catastrophic disaster and why I need to change my life-style.
In my book a warmer world with more rain and CO2 augmented food
production is a good thing. The IPCC tells us that the warming is at
night, in the winter and in the higher latitudes. Day time, summer
time and in the tropics, not so much.

You guys also need to stop the B.S. Antarctica really isn't melting,
methane really isn't 86 times more powerful than CO2, the polar
bears aren't going extinct, sea level isn't going up meters by 2100,
claiming 100 year old data needs correction, etc. The propaganda
machine from your side of the coin needs to stop.

I think the real problem it that the propaganda machine, is also a money printing press.
Printing out research dollars to all those who appear to support the concept of AGW.

Your ad hominem attack is unsurprising. As I said, we'll disagree. IMHO, "scientific expertise" in climate science is not a term worthy of unquestioned consideration. When scientists become advocates, advocacy is presented as science.

In this particularly amoral age, a large percentage of scientists prove to be for sale – rock star status,
schmoozing with Hollywood and world leaders, exotic country conferences, air-miles, etc.

They are outfitted with a rationale that even if they don’t have legitimate data or statistical methods they
are doing the right thing. How can it be wrong to violate scientific ethics if it means saving the world.

That post is certainly very typical of Watt's site. No scientific content whatsoever; just a completely unsubstantiated attack on the integrity of scientists.
