Since the Earth is not in an ice age, clearly the ice melted. What "floodwaters" are you talking about? Floods come, waters abate, floods go. That has been going on for thousands of years.

The Sun. The car heats up because heat is reduced. The car will heat up only so much under the same Sun.

You are still insisting on ignoring the Stefan-Boltzmann law. You are still trying to equivocate convection of energy into space with the reduced convection in greenhouses and cars.

There is no convection into space. Energy is lost to space by radiance.

So, if I want to heat something up, I should reduce the heat. That makes about as much sense as other things you've posted.

No, I'm not trying to "equivocate" convection energy into space. That has nothing to do with why the car is hotter than the ambient air at all. This is not about convection.

Yes, energy is lost to space by radiation, and not by convection.

So, why is the interior of the car warmer than the ambient air? Do you have an explanation?
