Russian Mining Firm Puts Trump’s Face On Its Asbestos Products

As U.S. officials decide against banning product, producer Uralasbest puts Trump “seal of approval” on pallets.

Donald Trump’s environmental policies may have caused controversy in the U.S. but the president’s stance has managed to get him a literal stamp of approval from a Russian mining company.

Uralasbest, one of the world’s largest producers and sellers of asbestos, has taken to adorning pallets of its product with a seal of Trump’s face, along with the words “Approved by Donald Trump, 45th president of the United States.”

The move follows the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s recent decision not to ban new asbestos products outright. The EPA said it would evaluate new uses of asbestos but environmental groups have criticized the agency for not going further by barring them on public health grounds.

Asbestos is great stuff unless you turn it into a dust and blow it about. Like when you drill through it...

For certain applications it is a very good material.

In land fill it is utterly harmless.

But around pipes it is very bad as the insulation does decay due to the heat gradually turning wbhatever glue has been used to stick it onto the pipe to dust thus the asbestos insulation turns to dust and kills the plumber. And, or, anybody exposed to the dust such as the plumber's family when he goes home.

ever notice when you talk to a Republican about presidential politics all they talk about is related to money. They say things like, "I don't care what Trump does in his personal life, if he is an adulterer, look at the economy."

Republicans don't care about morality, the environment, doing the right thing, etc., they just care about money.

Having Trump's likeness adorn pallets of asbestos should not be a surprise to anyone; nothing new to see here, just a different version of the same ole greed that runs very deep in the GOP.

If there's any doubt that Putin has Trump by the balls and that Trump's willing to sell out the American people for Trump's own personal gain or to prevent Trump's personal loss of face, this is it and this should erase all doubt.
