Zero-Emissions Vehicles Will Increase Air Pollution

I have looked for a source that gives a citation for the $2400.00 that fleet operators receive from the Federal Government, for using alternative fuel vehicles. Does Uncle Sam Believe?

What is the difference between diesel and electric CO2 emissions?

Is there a better way for State local and federal governments and agencies to coordinate fudning og public transportation, and to better manage the pollution and depletions of resources?

Diesel is a dirty burning process. No way to create a zero pollution burning diesel engine. I'm for replacing diesel with something else. Natural gas is about the best alternative we have for large vehicular travel. It can be liquefied relatively easily, and burn without pollutants. Batteries for electric vehicles are not yet compact enough for the power needed. Gasoline is still the best way to go for cars. We have perfected the process so they are zero pollution. Just CO2 and H2O coming out of the tailpipe, plus whatever was already in the air. In fact, a car with a proper running emission system, actually has a cleaner exhaust than the air it takes in, in urban areas.

State and local governments should not be subsidizing such things. Politicians should not be deciding winners and losers, and that's what happens. Their friends win.

As for depleting fossil fuels? As they get more expensive to extract, and technology advances, there will be a natural move to something like a fuel cell powered electric vehicle, that runs on methane.

The left is like children, with a "I want it now" childish mentality.

In the USA, we are very close to zero pollution already. Coal plants and diesel vehicles probably create more pollution than anything else. We have so many better things to spend tax dollars on, and the public can only be taxed so much.
