GLOBAL WARMING.... just LMFAO

Looks like you better get that defroster fixed eh?:2wave:

no need for Phoenix when the Georgia Guidestones 500m by 2100 is implemented.

99% of interior cities can just be returned to nature

According to the “WABAC machine“ the temperature Of the state of Georgia varies between 72° High on the high side and 41° on the low side. Are you implying that because you had to use yer defroster " other day" that somehow proves global warming doesn't exist? :2wave:

Weather during springtime in North Georgia and the mountains changes from day to day and year to year.[16] Early spring in the North Georgia Mountains can be very chilly during the day; average highs are near 62 °F (17 °C). The weather can be highly variable with temperatures ranging between 75 °F (24 °C) and 40 °F (4 °C). The rainiest time of the year is normally April, which can also be a windy month where daytime temperatures can rise to near 75 °F (24 °C) and evening temperatures fall to around 40 °F (4 °C)

According to NOAA, Georgia maximum temperatures in the warm months of the year (May through October)
have been dropping since the 19th century:

<Temperatures measured on land and at sea for more than a century show that Earth's globally averaged surface temperature is rising. Since 1970, global surface temperature rose at an average rate of about 0.17°C (around 0.3° Fahrenheit) per decade—more than twice as fast as the 0.07°C per decade increase observed for the entire period of recorded observations (1880-2015). The average global temperature for 2016 was 0.94°C (1.69°F) above the 20th century average of 13.9°C (57.0°F), surpassing the previous record warmth of 2015 by 0.04°C (0.07°F).>

I guess he doesn't have to get "Looks like you better get that defroster fixed eh"after all then eh?:2wave:

Do you understand that the average temperature can be increased by the low not getting as low, and not much happening to the high?
This is the case with much of the observed warming, the minimum daily and seasonal temperatures increase,
but the maximums only increase to a much lower extent if at all.
Most data sets are in averages, and do not contain T-Min , and T-Max, but the ones that do, like NOAA,
paint a different picture.

MY POINT.

You’re head.

[with some underscore and bolding]

Uh huh, average temperatures

Averages can be deceiving. The average income between you, your nearest eight neighbors and
Bill Gates comes to millions you know. The fact of the matter with temperature is that as the IPCC
tells us, the warming will be at night, in winter and the higher latitudes. Day time summer time and
in the tropics not so much. Do you need to have me find the IPCC link for essentially that?

Here's a map that just like the NOAA example of Georgia maximum temperatures in my earlier post,
the trend is easily demonstrated for most of the United States.

I don't have Min Max temperature data for the entire globe, otherwise I would have produced a global map.
But it should be noted that the United States spans an entire continent and includes several climatic types,
any claims that it is not a reasonable representative of the whole should be supported.

<To date, all 16 years of the 21st century rank among the seventeen warmest on record (1998 is currently the eighth warmest.) The five warmest years have all occurred since 2010.>

From post #59....if you wanna troll be my guest.

You wanna debate global warming...after all were on a"debate" site?

https://www.debatepolitics.com/true-...uidelines.html (True Debates Rules and Guidelines)

NO thankyou. You arent getting my POINT AT.

It AINT telling if EARTH went on this cycle WAY before everything was REGISTERED in the COMPUTER...

So until then.... GLOBAL WARMING is FAKE NEWS

You're dismissing global warming based on a single piece of data. You're clearly not the brightest...

I will counter that by saying your believe it based on the lies of pundits.

Except the weather is often trotted out a proof of AGW.

Changes in the average historical measurements in weather, is a valid and very indicator of trends of global warming.

The evidence is the hugely increasing millions of tons of CO2 a greenhouse gas, in the atmosphere.

Weather-wise, the evidence is that with warmer air that holds more water, more storms yield higher concentrations

for larger downfalls of both rain and snow. Average atmospheric temps. going up, Greenland is losing 8 million gallons/day from higher temps.

You didn't say where in the South. I'm tempted to assume you're somewhere in the southern
United States but considering your screen name maybe you're in Sydney. But I'll go with the U.S.
Yeah I drove back home to Wisconsin from the western tip of North Carolina a few days ago.
Stayed over in Lexington KY and snow and ice was on the car in the morning. Didn't clear off and
get sunny until I got close to Chicago. And over the last day or so I watched the radar map as a
snow storm dumped on New York city. Ha ha ha ha ha! Does that prove or disprove Global Warming?
Well it doesn't prove it that's for sure. Except that some people think it does:

Thank God Dr. John Holdren no longer holds a position of influence in the United States.

I just went and read all about the good Dr. at Forbes mag. I wanted to know what the real or-profit deniers where

saying and as usual, there's billion$ in real profit at stake and not surprisingly, their take on [his] message,

was... unmitigated bullcrap.

Hot as **** is what it is. This summer is going to be a mother ****er. Lake Powell, one of our main reservoirs, is projected to only get about 47% of it's normal in-flow.

All western states involved should have started 3 years ago or more on the required EPA study necessary to drain Lake Powell into Lake Mead.

Powell is losing many more billions of gals. through leakage and evaporation than Meade. They should be combined to minimize that and

beneficiaries would still get there water to grow their alfalfa to export. [sic] On the subject of our southwestern drought, some scientists now argue,l it may be showing such drought that

we may be in a 500 year version, not 150 year. Rainfall alone will not be the answer to the freshwater needs for 4 states.

Almost record lows. I've seen numbers at about 28%. The good news is those in the know saw this coming and long range planning will alleviate some issues.

Look around the world. Snow skiing is now realizing a slow death. In some parts of the US, snow makers can't keep up.

It's an odd concept for someone from here, that 'those in the know' need to anticipate water levels. 28% of average sounds serious. What's the worst case, sprinkling restriction? Or are people liable have consumption limits?

Capetown South Africa, city on life support as we type. Out of water.

Can't wait for the fake news that the city of Miami is entirely underwater. (it would be now if not huge 24/7 pumps.
You will have to wait until fall's king tides, then they will show the street flooding like it is something unusual.
