You are confusing real science as old as Aristotle with today's ignorant and totally useless bureaucrats. Christopher Columbus wowed the Jamaican savages who were almost as clueless as today's global warming bureaucrats with his accurate (to the hour) lunar eclipse prediction in 1504.
