As you probably know on Wednesday the World Economic Forum (WEF) takes places in Davos, Switzerland, Trump will also attend. I myself am a resident in Switzerland and have been scrolling through the WEF-discussion program. Amongst them are many questions I'm interested in and have thought about myself. I'd love to have a different point of view/ insight! All answers highly appreciated!

1) Are the overheated markets headed towards another financial crisis?
2) Could 2018 Be the Year of the Next Financial Crisis?
3) Is the rise of today’s technology giants a good thing for the global economy and consumers?
5)With international tensions on the rise, how compromised is our collective ability to address the critical challenges we face?
6)How can democracies be protected against the implications of a digitized world?
7)Can the values of the Enlightenment re-inspire a world increasingly driven by dark headlines and ideological divides?
8) What can the world expect from the "America First" foreign policy doctrine?
9) Can leaders win the public trust needed to create a shared future?
10) how can new technologies and partnerships help refugees on the move?
11)How can we halt rising inequality and renew our commitment to future generations?
12)As the nature of work rapidly changes, what future role will employment play in terms of community identity, personal livelihood and societal purpose?
13) Worldwide, more than 320 million people suffer What can be done to stop rising rates of depression among young people and safeguard their mental health?
14) What is needed to propel a sustainable and nutritious food revolution?
15) How can State-leaders get over the political challenges to ensure a clean and affordable energy-future?

Hello and welcome to Debate Politics.
From My perspective, the worlds real problems revolve around energy.
We do not have enough fossil fuels to allow the entire population to attain a first would lifestyle,(If they choose to).
This is what will cause the most inequity.
The solution is energy storage, Solar and other alternative power sources can provide enough energy,
but not in the on demand style we have become accustomed to.
The ability to store and accumulate the energy, is what will allow the world to move forward.
There are plenty of political challenges as well, but energy is the big one.
I favor hydrocarbon energy storage ( man made gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, natural gas), because the demand and infrastructure
is already in place. The fuel can be made carbon neutral, as to stop new CO2 emissions.

Well, right now, to me, they seem back on track with historical trends, rather than being overheated.

11)How can we halt rising inequality and renew our commitment to future generations?
Inequity is natural. I don't think there is an answer except to instill better work ethics in those at the bottom.

15) How can State-leaders get over the political challenges to ensure a clean and affordable energy-future?
By being reasonable, and work on the biggest problems, instead of insisting everyone needs to reduce emissions. In problem solving, you go for the easy to fix and the largest problems. Take care of them first before spending time and money on the areas that will yield little in results.

[h=1]Our Man in Davos reports on ‘6 feet of global warming’[/h]Report by David Archibald The New York Times has reported on the great depth of snow blanketing Davos, Switzerland which is hosting the World Economic Forum. Of course the snow disrupted polemics on the dangers of global warming: Linda P. Fried, the dean of Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, allowed three hours at…
