Although it wasn't part of the article about his travails, it was interesting to read WUWT about Mount IO in Japan erupting for the first time in 250 years, though.

If someone could convince everyday book buyers that AGW is really "science fiction," they'd be more honest in selling their message - maybe..... :lamo

[h=1]Perverse, conflicted ethical systems – then and now[/h]Note from Anthony: This opinion piece covers a very ugly subject. I gave it careful consideration before I decided to run it. One of the considerations I made is how many times “climate justice” proponents have said and spread terrible things about me, as well as others who stand up to the green tyranny that…

On December 28th, 1978, a DC8 flying into Portland Oregon from New York City (United Airlines flight 173) was on final approach, when a cockpit light indicated that there was a nose-gear problem. The crew needed time to investigate, so the captain put the plane into an emergency holding pattern. As he did so, the … Continue reading

Bereft of gainful employment, I now find myself spending more time than is good for me plucking at the internet for morsels of entertainment. Thus engaged, and being a sucker for the allure of an intriguing title, I recently settled upon the following article, written by a certain Michelle Nijhuis, and posted on Vox,1 the self-proclaimed … Continue reading

OK. Climate skeptics plead guilty to "fact mongering."

[h=1]Pielke and Lomborg accused of “fact mongering”[/h]Posted on 10 Jan 19 by PAUL MATTHEWS 27 Comments
Here’s a remarkable example of the post-truthiness of some elements of contemporary academia. A magazine called Issues in Science and Technology has published an article Fear Mongering & Fact Mongering, by Adam Briggle, a philosopher at a third-rate institution called University of North Texas. The article starts by dismissing the old-fashioned claptrap of Poincaré and Feynman, … Continu

[h=1]Climate bullying[/h][FONT=&quot]Guest opinion By Chris Martz [featured image: Eric Holthaus] For years now, [man-made] climate change skeptics, like myself have dealt with bullying from people on the AGW side of the argument. There has been constant bickering back and forth between the two sides, and with the current political madhouse, it hasn’t gotten any better. In fact, it…
