We all know based on your post history that you are absolutely ****ing clueless what a scientist is and isn't, but none of the three are. Then again, even Jennifer Lawrence is more qualified than the Wordpress bloggers you tend to cite.

We all know that based on your history of posts you know nothing about nothing and are not worthy of even a click. I have absolutely no further use for you. Have a nice day.

When you can show me that any of the three people/organizations you quote are degreed scientists top in their field, I'll admit this thread wasn't more of your daily partisan garbage you vomit onto this forum.

Can anyone blame me for never responding to you?

It's mostly because you're intellectually incapable of defending your own positions, so you abandon ship as soon as possible. So can we safely assume you don't have any evidence that these are "top scientists" as you claimed?

Mods, seeing as how this was a joke thread, can we have it moved to 'On the lighter side' or 'Conspiracy theories'?

That's pretty funny. You've never actually responded to any of my posts in a substantive manner. You're nothing but this ad hominem stuff.

And now you're trying to silence me by having my posts moved to obscure topics. Pretty shabby. I suppose that's all you've got.

If this isn't a joke thread, then where is your evidence? Show us that these are top scientists.

Oh brother...

Yeah, "top scientists" like those three I mentioned, Mickey Mouse, Howdy Doody, It, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Bill Nye, Rosie O'Donnell, etc.

So you're saying this is a serious thread and that Jennifer Lawrence, Mickey Mouse and Howdy Doody are scientists? I guess we're back to my original reponse: You haven't the slightest ****ing idea what is and isn't a scientist, which explains most of your confusion when it comes to scientific topics.

Check out the trend in the chart below. Turns out that hurricanes are a little more frequent lately, and more powerful. Since charts are complicated, let me help: in the last 10 years 2006 to 2015, we have had more than 15 named storms 5 times. 1996 to 2005, 4 years had 15 or more named storms. The 10 years prior, one, the 10 years before that, 0.

Oh, and you should probably learn what a scientist is. You list none.

Any chance that you can cite any particular scientist that says that the thing they are specialist about is going to actually cause trouble?

I'll consider answering your off-topic questions when my on-topic question is answered. Can you show that any of the people the OP mentioned are "top scientists" or even scientists at all? I think you might have a hard time like him telling the difference.

OK, but remember a very, very important detail....

The number is rather high for the 30's to 50's considering we had no satellites and only relied on observation...

I think that is the point.

The general hype of doom is driven not by scientists (well very very few scientists) but by people who come out with stuff that others lap up and deeply believe. In a faith way. You are a prime example of this.

Amazingly as we have the ability to track and see storms that couldn't be seen 50-60 years ago at sea, the numbers go up..

Coincidence or is it a conspiracy?

"named storms' LOL that's real scientific.

Mann:" whew boy it's raining out there"
Schmidt:It is? quick lets give that thing a name so can jack that storm graph up"
