In fact, Greenland has gained a near record amount of ice this year, and the ice is melting very slowly.

It should be noted that none of the temperatures in the Greenland chart listed are anywhere near warm enough to melt ice.
I think people forget that between 1942 and 1992, central Greenland accumulated 282 feet of ice.
