What's Happening to the EPA?

One reason I say that the Republicans steal from the poor to give to the rich is that GOP policy allows the rich to rape the planet and then sticks the taxpayer with the bill...usually after our poorest people get sick and die from all the pollution the factories owned by the rich spewed out to make them richer at our expense.

Typically, once the shtf, and we all prove how much damage company XYZ caused, the profits have been reaped and the the business has no money left to pay for the cleanup. Nice system we have here--if you are rich and don't care about killing millions of people.
Care to put on number on how many millions will be dead when trump leaves office?

Sure, Jack, keep posting your Watts misinformation. His uneducated banter fits right in with your easy-to-refute, unscientific allegations.
Hmm funny guy you are... Who is the lefts god of the environment? Al gore. And what are his quals? O thats right he has none.......

Much simpler just to dissolve the EPA outright, and have done with it. The U.S. would be better off if it had happened years ago.

No. But, I do like clean air and water

Then worry about what Asia is doing rather than us.

Seriously?

We already have some of the best standards in the world. Rolling back expensive crap that might yield another 0.001% cleaner air is flat out silly to complain about. Especially when you don't appear to care about what the rest of the world is doing.

I don't live in Asia, nor do I drink their water.

The EPA was fine before it became the cornerstone for Nazi -environmentalism. Now it's just another sadistic government agency Hell-bent on power and control.

Funny how no-one that claims this ever points to the stuff the EPA actually does. It's always just this ethereal unspecified evil.

It's Junk Science lies, and Watts has been called out for lying repeatedly. His attacks on the credibility of Climate Change scientists are well known lies, such as claiming that they do not use or have renewable energy systems, when they certainly have. Nothing but a fossil-fuel industry pet, trying to instill doubt, in an effort to refute the 97% of climate change professionals who are NOT deniers.

The Orwellian nature of your handle and posts continues to be most fascinating.

Why are you debating in a climate thread when you obviously don't understand how wind move things across the earth?

That's silly. Asian air pollution doesn't come anywhere near Ohio. But the pollution from cars and trucks driving up and down I-75 sure does.

Wow...

Just wow...

I never said they did nothing. They are vital in what they were designed to do....protect.

Just wow...

Note exactly what I wrote in my response to LOP.

And my "wow" was in the aspect that it was only your back yard you were concerned with. Aerosols mix and the ones that remain a long time can end up anywhere. The flow of the earths air is far more complicated than your simple graph. There are the polar cells, ferrel cells, hadley cells, polar jet streams, subtropical jet streams, etc.

So... only caring about Ohio...

That's a NIMBY type of hypocrisy.

Again...

Wow...

Just wow...

Why should I care about something that does not affect me directly, especially in this context? I'm bitching about relaxed US EPA regs which allow for air and water pollution, and you go "Yeah, but--Asia!"

Politicization for raping and pillaging is what I call it.

First get rid of the scientists.

Next, give the hacks free reign.

And, finally, allow the destruction of the environment and the poisoning of half the country so that the rich can profit off of our misery and, worse, stick us with the tab to clean it all up later, after all the profits have been pulled out and the culprits are long gone.

The E.P.A.?s Dangerous Anti-Regulatory Policies | The New Yorker

They didn't get rid of them, they replaced them. They had set term of service and they were at the end of that term and have been replaced. Of course, as usual, these are facts and you NEVER let facts get in the way of your hate.
