We should be glad the US is out of the Paris Climate Agreement

By what percentage per capita?

The problem is, like the UN, they want us to foot most the costs.

Are you a China hater? Show your data. Also, perhaps you should study the costs of doing nothing. Climate change is a global problem, that requires a global solution.

The Paris Accord set a target of a 2 deg C worldwide temperature reduction. It was up to each nation, how to help to accomplish this. It was stated that no nations should take financial action over certain humanitarian issues, such as starvation.

There has been vast DENIER criticism of China and India. However, these 2 nations have made great strides. China has actually installed more renewable energy than the US, since the Accord was signed; and the US installed a lot!

Your point is well-taken, and the answer is that there is nothing wrong with less coal pollution! That's the whole point of the Paris Accord - one world, acting together, to solve a global problem, taking one step at a time.[/QUOT

You goofed... big trouble... you said "one world"... anathema phrase to the right... why do you hate America?

If we're working together against a common enemy - climate change; we'll be less apt to be warring against one another. Think of those cost savings for America.

LOL...

Am I a China hater. What a silly response.

If we assume China is installing 10% more renewables than we are, and has a population four timers larger than us, then we are doing significantly better per-capita.

It's not even worth looking at, or discussing, because this isn't a contest. If it was a contest, the Southeast United States would lose to everybody. Iowa, California, Texas and Colorado would be the big winners.

Then why bring up such a stupid statistic?

Actually, it was this poor grammatical sentence of yours that started this discussion:

The problem is, like the UN, they want us to foot most the costs.

That doesn't explain the stupid statistic.
