Why I Like an Increasing Green CO2 Warming Planet

Arrogance and a know-it-all attitude are pretty commonplace in today's political arena. Your rhetoric fits right in. The National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) is considered the authority on the subject of wildfires. I didn't make up the statistics. And yes, acreage burned from wildfires has increased, two-three-fold in the last 20 years, on average. Some areas get hit worse than others.

Given that you know that this is related to global warming even though the USA has not had any such warming, it has happened else where, and that you know that we all must change our life styles due to this threat you are unable to back with any science who is the arrogant know-it-all who knows nothing?

The issue is not that there are not benefits to warming. The issue is how the detriments balance with the benefits. If it causes mass shifts of resources, I'm sure you will appreciate the mass migrations or even geopolitical wars while remaining warm in a worse case senario.

Not to say global cooling is better, it is far worse.

I would claim the benefits outweigh the problems.

Never say never. Climate changes and that is a fact. The mini ice age greatly disrupted human kind.

Possibly true.

Solar experts predict the next few decades, the sun will reduce in output to Maunder Minima levels.

If you can pump water in a drench spray over your house for the first 10 minutes and there is no large burnable fuel around it and it is built of fire proof materials on the outside it would be very difficult for a fire to actually destroy it.

Not enough water for those California homes.

All the incoming corporate state PR coming through my TV tells me it's all fake, so it must be. And there were WMD's in Iraq, and Sadam was involved in 9/11.

Enough for a pool or is that just from me watching US TV programs?

I wonder if California has a progressive rate increase by usage on water? They should if they don't.

I didn't think of that though. Emergency pump for out of the pool.

As I said; idiot thoughts from a place where it is too wet all the time for forrest fires...

Climate News
[h=1]Another benefit of warming – California projected to get wetter through this century[/h]RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Under business-as-usual greenhouse gas emissions, climate models predict California will get warmer during the rest of the century and most also predict the state will get drier. But, new research, published July 6th in the journal Nature Communications, predicts that California will actually get wetter. The scientists from the University of California, Riverside predict the state…
