Re: Senior Research Scientist at RSS says its less reliable than surface measurements
I appreciate your responce. Thank you that sort of thing is not normal around here. Have a like.
No more than those who live in Nashville. The temperature difference in a heat wave is not likely to be any more than now. Indeed the general increased temperatures are highly likely to give rise to a general increase in moisture which would dampen such extremes.
Like which species? The temperature rise we are talking about is less of a difference than between a warm year and a cool year. Not even exceptional for any place in particular. The variability of climate is a lot. The predicted increase in temperature is small. And showing no real sign of happening.
1. You are correct, I was reading the graph wrong.

2. For the people who live in Chicago, probably won't be so bad. Though I would imagine it would manifest itself into regular intense heat waves given how far they are from an ocean.

Do you car? I don't.For glaciers,
The impact of warmer wetter weather with more abundant CO2, plant food, will be increased fertility. There are a lot more leaves about the world today due to increased CO2.farming, forestry,
Do you think that a 3 foot high sea level rise over the next 100 years is so difficult to deal with if you own beach front property given the cost of maintaning the sea defences as is? I don't expect the additional cost to be more than 20%. The loss of value due to the general economic damage of doing anything about CO2 would be vastly higher to that actual beach front property.low lying coasting communities,
and many species, such a huge climatic change would most likely be catastrophic.
