Global warming and global cooling are natural events that humans have NO control over

Central park in NY City was once under a glacier hundreds of feet deep

That happened during an ice age cooling event which was followed by global warming.

All without any assistance from the cave men of the day

Compared to that the hysterical worst case predictions of the radical environmentalists over man-made-global-warming are laughable

We do have a minor effect. I agree the natural changes are greater, but you should not take the attitude that we are insignificant.

I do not know if humans have any measurable affect on the global climate or not

And neither does the man-made-global-warming alarmists

Yet they want to press ahead with expensive and radical changes in America and few other wealthy countries based on little more than computer models that they themselves wrote

To me that a much more urgent problem than any affect humans may have on climate

Let me try to get closer to the problem

There is more co2 in the atmosphere because of humans burnimg fossil fuel

But does that mean the our grandchildren are going to live horrible lives because of global warming that would not have happened anyway due to natural causes

No one knows that

And slightly higher tempertures do not necessarily lead to the end of life on earth anyway

The hoax is liberals demanding radical changes in our economy and way of life based on computer models they created which they claim lead to a horrible future 50 or 100 years from now

They're hired to assess and predict impact so as to spend the funds most effectively. We can throw the anthropogenic out the window, the Earth is warming by nature or nurture (simply, both). As weather becomes more extreme, including more warm for periods in some areas, floods and droughts will become worse, hot and cold will be more extreme... this depends largely on local climate, geology, oceanography, etc.

How did you think he would spend the money? Proving climate change exists? Please say that was a joke and you're not so completely uninformed on the subject.
