Religious conservatives and CAGW

We've been stuck here for 10 years. I'd rather be down in Corpus to be honest, fishing :p Next summer, barring some disaster, we're going to move to Idaho.

Idaho?

Wow...

Why?

Idaho?

Wow...

Why?

We threw a dart at the dart board, it hit the Pacific NW. We looked and looked and stumbled on Sandpoint Idaho. After weeks of reading up, we fell in love.

We WILL move there. Small town, 4 season, quiet.

OK... That might be a good place. Never been in that part of Idaho.

When I think of Idaho, I think of the offbeat religious zealot branch of the Mormons, who are very intolerant. With your life choices, I suggest you check what the community standards are like. At least Spokane isn't too far away.

Any particular climate you want in the NW? It varies quite a bit by location seasonally. Astoria is one of the best small communities. Pretty mild weather year round being next to the Pacific.

The Dalles, OR or Hood River has snow every year, hot summers. Small towns and not far from Portland.
