If I want hurricane updates I stick to the weather underground. They are much better at it than you.
That's nice Ganathapy, you don't have to read these. As I'm just posting the warnings the NHC lists, when there is something worth reporting...
You report we decide.......................
Whose we? Got a mouse in your pocket, Ganathapy?
Me and my lab. He actually laughed at your post. Well he woofed. Same thing if you know him.

Anyway, there is nothing on the 5 day, and after looking at the longer range modeling I won't be shocked if Aug is a dead month as well.
Your metrological reports will be very entertaining. I'm especially interested in your knowledge of long range modeling..
Hey did you hear about that flood in Louisiana? Apparently it rained a lot there.

I spent 10 years in the Navy as a AG. The last 4 of which as a Forecast Duty Officer. I stay current as I can on changes to the field, I have access to most of the modeling sites and tools I did Active Duty. I can read a Skew-T at a glance. Can you?
Any other dumb questions?
What is your favorite color and wrt to toilet paper? Over or under?
Seriously you are very entertaining I look forward to your tropical updates. Have you considered applying your appreciable insight at weather underground?
Hmmm perhaps I was quick to call the Atlantic dead for August. the same system moving Fiona extra tropical is pulling the area clear for more development. This could get interesting!
Hurricanes always bear watching, For up to a cat 3, I shelter in place. Above that I look for options. If you're on the Eastern seaboard, might start keeping your eyes on these potential systems. I'm still not sold that they are going anywhere. For a bit things looked exciting but the models gone muddy again. Still enough energy could make it's way by late weekend or so to cause some hiccups.

Some of the bad early storms have spun up in a hurry, but most give good warning.
That reminds me, I need to test my generator.Yep. It's been so long since we've had a good one I'm worried people aren't going to take it seriously.
