I am not against spending a few billion on researching alternative energy. When we have found some that work, that being cost less than the alternative, great!!!

Starving millions of people for no good other than to enrich already rich western farmers is a crime against humanity.

Building pointless wind turbines that look fantastic but don't make electricity at any decent cost effiency is stupid.

And doing bad science will lead to a backlash that is likely to turn public opinion against future science which is possibly the most destructive thing we could do.
