Global Temperatures Are Mostly Fake

That's for the US, not hemispheric or global.

In post #42, which I was responding to in post #43,here is what you said,
Summer temperatures are increasing in the US (mean), and daytime temperatures are increasing in the US (annual), and summer daytime temperatures are increasing in the US northwest (~0.02/century) and especially southwest (~0.77/century);
The global numbers have more noise, but still a similar pattern.
The majority of the warming globally is in Winter T-Min temperatures.

I don't know about global but at the university in the town where I lived it was horrible. In a thirty year period the weather station at the university report alarmingly higher temperatures. Of course, in 1965 the weather station equipment was located in the middle of a 160-acre corn field. It never moved but over the years the cornfield was abandoned and then turned into a asphalt parking lot. Could that explain the higher temperatures. Of course not. It's my car.

And, in our city two bank buildings a block apart had the time and temperature signs. In the summer the highs on one sign were always about ten degrees higher than the other. Why? It couldn't possibly have to do with the placement of the two sensors, could it? No, it's global warming.

I wonder if we actually took the measurement sites, one by one, and evaluated their suitability not for politics but for accurary how it would come out?

Since there is no global winter, that's debateable: In the Southern Hemisphere (1950-1993) Tmin increases more in every other season besides winter; globally, March/April/May would seem to have the biggest Tmin increase.

But the point is that the summer maximums have increased in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres. Tmin has been increasing faster; but as Hansen notes in your original link it would be incorrect to suggest (as others have) that global warming is just a 'benign' night-time or winter phenomenon.

"Winter" as in the cooler months.

For the purposes of this discussion Southern Hemisphere winter is July, August,and September.
( I know technically it is June 21 to Sept. 21)
As for Hansen 20 years ago he point out the asymmetry, yet said it would disappear.
The ratio between T-Min and T-Max appears about the same today.
While it appears that the warming is mostly in winter evenings (wherever winter happens to be),
that does not mean benign.
Reducing chill hours can have a real and measurable effect on some crops, like apples.
If anything renders the change benign, it would be the time it takes to occur, I.E. over a century,
is greater that the cycle time of the crops that are affected.
What I mean is that the orchard that is producing one type of apples today,
will have planted a fewer chill hour type on the next rotation.

Are you serious? You get more accurate readings, by changing the reading?

Thermometers need no adjustment!
