    I think the education system, and the way it is set up in many cities and towns throughout the USA puts severe limitations on a teacher's creativity and there are plenty of studies out their to back me up on this issue.

    Teaching to the test is never the way to go.

    I say, let the teachers use their own creativity along with their ability to inspire students...……. and let's see how things shake out.


    For me personally, there is a special place in heaven for teachers that inspire kids

    Yes, a good teacher is a true blessing to society. A orchid to them all.


    Sadly, many teachers never get a chance to teach.


    In some public schools, they spend all their energy trying to maintain order and trying to make sure that they are not personally assaulted.


    So they quit or just mark time until retirement.


    And don't forget: Many parents will take their brats' word over that of the teacher; administrators are constrained by orders from superiors who have to satisfy politicians (who do not know anything about the realities of teaching in some public schools).
