Walmart on its way to being a monopoly. Monsanto is a monopoly. Microsoft is a monopoly.

How can a company owned by another company be a monopoly?

Walmart on its way to being a monopoly. .

actually fighting for its life against Amazon. See why we say liberalism is pure ignorance?

Can you give me an example of some other competitor step in? You wrote nothing new. Other competitors can step in. However, the question is would he be successful or not?

dear, all industries are very very competitive. The more greedy a company is the easier it is for a competitor to take them on and win. Now do you understand?

How are those 10000 corporations failed every year in the U.S alone? How you got that number?

you said that American business was not competitive. Then, I taught you that 10,000 businesses a month go bankrupt in America because the competition is too difficult or too competitive. Is is that simple enough for the liberal to understand?

when IBM was a monopoly Microsoft took over from them. This is the story of capitalism. All the companies on the Dow 50 years ago are gone today. Is this simple enough for the liberal to understand?

Microsoft toke over then they became monopoly themselves. How many times the company was fined for a monopolistic practices?

A huge difference exists between a corporation and a business. A grocery store can be called a business but not Wal-Mart, it is a corporation. Your numbers aren't accurate and your logic doesn't make any sense.

You are wrong. A fewer corporation with the passing of the time is consolidating their grip on the market.

An obvious liberal Marxist lie which is why you can't give us your best example of this consolidation despite being asked 10 times!

In fact, 10,000 companies go bankrupt each month thanks to Republican capitalism.

Walmart is an old fashioned inefficient company fighting for its life against Amazon thanks to Republican Capitalism. Does the liberal Marxist understand?

Yes and then Microsoft was surrounded and beaten by Facebook, Google, Amazon, Yahoo, Oracle, Netflix, What App, YouTube etc etc. The Republican free market took care of the monopoly which was was one on the most helpful monopolies in human histories turning us all on to the PC. Microsoft is beloved and innovative and one of the greatest things about America.

Without Microsoft and the others we would be nothing, just like the dead socialist countries of Europe. Without Republican capitalism human progress stops. Do you understand?

I don't know if I will ever understand you. What is the relation between Microsoft and YouTube, Facebook or Google? IE is still more common than the Chrome one from Google. And Microsoft still dominates the personal computer market with Windows OS. World Markets are controlled by monopolies, And this is a known fact not a myth.

Walmart is a way bigger corporation than Amazon. I am afraid that Amazon will start soon fight for their own survival.
I viewed your contribution to the forum. The best what you can do is writing 4 or 5 lines threads or a couple of line in comments. You should stop trying to feed me false information.

A small grocery store can be called a company. How many corporations being bankrupt every year? Corporations, not companies. As far as the acquisition deals, you could read about in the business magazines, Maybe Wall Street Journal.

Not true. Everybody is fighting for his life because of Walmart.

Microsoft is not a monopoly. What product are they the sole supplier of?

Windows operating system. The same as Apple, it is another monopoly too. They are sole supplier for their own operating system.

They are not the sole supplier of operating systems.

What do you mean? Elaborate please.

Monsanto is a company owned by Bayer which owns at least a dozen other similar companies, so I am not sure how one can maintain that they have a monopoly when the parent company itself competes with them, as well as all the sister companies.

Maybe you don't understand what "monopoly" means...

Suzuki is the sole supplier of Suzuki motorcycles.... Is Suzuki a monopoly?

That, and there are Windows, MAC, Android, Linux, Unix operating systems... Where is the monopoly?

You no comprende the lingo.

In short, competition can be good in many ways, but it needs to be well regulated and that is what is exceedingly difficult about any economic system.
If several sellers are competing for my business, why does this need to be regulated?
