How does Libertarianism address the problem of systemic racism?

Why lie?

Tell me what I have to do to combat systemic institutionalized racism in American society (beyond changing society at a local level) ....

Son, I can't fix you, as a "libertarian" you understand that is your task. Cheers. My guess is you care as little about any of that as you do your corrupt endless war addicted political and economic system. It is simply not your problem is it. "Meh, I'm "libertarian", I don't know and I don't wanna know, don't tell me."

Never asked to be "fixed". That is kinda stupid.

A QUESTION WAS ASKED. I ANSWERED. AND YOU LIED.

You poor thing, I gotta run, run along and find someone else to do this with, cheers.

Ah. So not only do you stand firmly behind Trump, you also infer that there's no systemic racism in America today.

Cognitive dissonance indeed.

Did you misread the request? It was fairly simple...let me repeat it. PLEASE PROVIDE EXAMPLES OF "SYSTEMIC RACISM" IN OUR COUNTRY TODAY.

Did you also ignore the qualification? Let me also repeat that for you. HAVING EXPERIENCED INSTITUTIONAL RACISM IN MY YOUTH, I AM CURIOUS TO HEAR WHAT YOU THINK CONSTITUTES SUCH RACISM CURRENTLY.

Yet here we are at post #18...and I have yet to see any specific example, supported by any facts in response to this simple request.

Just avoidance, assumption bias, and in your response? Self-righteous ad hominin's.

I recognize that there are racists in this country, and people of all races demonstrate this characteristic.

But if you want to assert that systemic racism still exist, then it is up to you to show it.

The whole philosophy of Libertarianism is built on the idea that we can prosper if the government gets out of the way. But how will that address systemic racism? Systemic racism is ubiquitous and is entrenched in the lives of people of color from the time their born, all through their education, and in institutions like criminal justice and housing and such. There's nothing the free market can do to undo the massive structural inequities that our in our society.

Libertarianism is one of the best ideologies to address systemic racism. Your own example of the criminal justice system is one of the very best. You're much less likely to be abused by the law when there isn't laws and regulations against literally everything.

It would do less to stop certain private citizens from doing such but with a freer market, market solutions would be much easier to come about. If there is a demand, Libertarianism is the best system for enabling that demand to be met.

Well I wont debate what is or isn't racism because that's counter productive so Ill just answer the question. From what I've seen, in general, nothing in it or nothign people suggest would address bigotry. It would thrive under stereotypical libertarianism. But also for the record many many libertarians are fine with anti-discrimination laws and protections of gender, race, religion etc.

I could, and easily (and you know I don't make idle claims)...but I've found with you that it doesn't matter what I show you - you're going to deny, deny, deny. It would be a waste of time since I've found that you're only going to cherry-pick till kingdom come and use every spurious argument you can think of to avoid ever having to admit that you're wrong about anything. You're very intelligent...but intelligence and wisdom are completely different things.

And looking at your repeated claims of "having experienced institutional racism" in your youth while at the same time strongly implying there's no systemic racism against minorities in America today...well, that tells me a great deal about you. And none of it good. Most of all, it opens my eyes to what likely lay behind your claim of being a libertarian...which label is all too often used not as a point of personal mindset, but as an excuse to support social division in America.

(Sigh) Again with the typical superior, holier and more knowledgeable than thou Progressive-Left response; made up of entirely fallacious arguments diverting from the issue to attack the individual instead.

You refuse to provide evidence of the assertion, instead arguing that any response would only result in some self-delusional "denial" clearly against the Progressive-Left party line.

Very well. I accept your surrender to your own assumption bias and since you feel no point in further discussion, will respect that choice and defer from engaging with you now and in the future.

There's nothing the free market can do to undo the massive structural inequities that our in our society.

100% liberal, naive, and illiterate of course

1) free market is about efficient production and exchange of goods, not about efficient destruction of racism

2) liberals would end racism with mega govt violence. Govt violence is all liberals know. Civil War is good example. 600,000 dead including 100,000 blacks!

3) libertarians believe in slow natural evolutionary Darwinian change. You are free to persuade anyone you want that racism is bad but not free to use a gun to make people to think and act the way you want. History shows that if you or govt liberal elites are free to use a gun mostly it will be used for the wrong things. Now do you understand why our genius libertarian founders gave us freedom from central govt elites with guns?

strongly implying there's no systemic racism against minorities in America today.
if there is please provide the evidence or admit you have no idea on earth what you are talking about?

, nothing in it or nothign people suggest would address bigotry.
insane assumption that govt elites know what's best and people don't so govt must use violence to make people think and act properly. This is exactly opposite assumption our genius Founders made as they created greatest country in human history by far. Welcome to your fist lesson in American History. Do you understand the lesson?

FYI, James 972 You must of qouted the wrong post because nothing you said has anything to do with what I posted or relates to it in any intelligent, honest or logical way.. Maybe it was a couple posts below or above mine you meant to quote.

Happy New Year!

Hahahaha nope never said any of that retardation you just made up anywhere in my post. Unless of course you can quote me saying anything about government elites, knowing best and violence? oh you can't? Thats what I thought. Thank you for proving you just got caught posting a lie. You lose, thanks for playing!

(Hint: any response that does not quote me saying the lie you got caught posting will only further expose your dishonesty)

you said "nothign people[libertarians] suggest would address bigotry. It would thrive under stereotypical libertarianism."

you made insane assumption that govt elites know what's best and people don't so govt must use violence to make people think and act properly ie without bigotry. Same way any other government could remove systematic racism, or at least attempt to. Pass laws.

Racism isn't that bad, an entire country was created (Liberia) so anyone that wanted to return to African could, they are still here.

In a free market if you don't like something you go elsewhere, don't like my cake, go to the bakery across the street. etc.

Racism isn't that bad,.

far worse than racism is the crippling welfare and other programs targeted at blacks. IF you doubt it read "Please Stop Helping Us."

Laws don't change men's hearts they cause huge resentment and wars like the Civil War. Slow conservative change is far better and far less deadly.

So what's your idea on how we can change it?
