I love what this guy used to do when he was in the House. Alan Grayson had such a humorous way of bringing to light the fact that Americans are shill dummies for corporations and the Federal Reserve. There's no others like him now that he's gone.
---------------------

The year is 2007. Red Roof Inn is the same dump it's always been, and is owned by Bear Stearns, which will soon be gobbled up by JP Morgan. The Federal Reserve has volunteered the American public to assume ownership of $440 million in Red Roof Debt. Let the comedy begin...

(For more of Grayson's comedic genius, see the video where he turns Ben Shalom Bernanke into a stuttering, sweating buffoon as Grayson grills the chosen one over Fed liquidity swaps.)

Alan Grayson was one of the biggest asses ever to be in Congress, and he was rightly cashiered.

Maybe on some issues sure. I'm definitely not a progressive Democrat, but you have to appreciate it when one stinking congressman out of 435 decides not to play the same bribery game that the other 434 have. Agree? Grayson will never be offered a high priced gig at Goldman Sachs or JP, and I respect him for that.

He's a complete and total ass.

I have to explain what being a "complete and total ass" means?

As for what you said about him being the only one of 435 not sucking on the Wall Street teat:

Documents raise more questions about U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson's offshore hedge fund | Tampa Bay Times

Thanks. I never said I wanted him to be president or anything, just that I appreciate his willingness to bust the Fed's balls.

By the way, what kind of hedge fund has 2 outside investors in it? :lamo I understand that the media wanted to prevent him from being the D candidate for Senator, but him running a hobby fund isn't exactly on par with the serious issues that Grayson was raising in congress.

I can overlook an amateur fund he ran, but not an unconstitutional collection of world bankers controlling our currency.

I questioned his sanity while he was in office.

Yeah, it's not the media who's after him, but other Democrats.

Anti-Semitic dog whistle there.

My favorite recollection about Grayson was when Sen. Reid told him he wanted him to lose his election. As a democrat you must really have to be a PoS for Reid to diss you. Reid was angry that Grayson had made the unusual decision to operate a hedge fund in the Cayman Islands as a member of Congress.

That, and his staffers all quit because he was a violent goon. He even got physical with reporters.

So it was no surprise that his wife accused him of beating her up for 25 years.

His middle name is Shalom, that's a fact.

Nonsense. Harry Reid was much more crooked than Grayson. He said he wanted Grayson to lose because Lloyd Blankfein's hand was up Reid's ass, controlling him like a ventriloquist.

Reid was angry that Grayson had made the unusual decision to operate a hedge fund in the Cayman Islands as a member of Congress.

You're right. He should have done the honorable thing and earned extra income by selling the entire country out for kickbacks from Wall St like most congressmen do

You mean when he pushed a reporter from Politico because the weasel was standing directly in his way and wouldn't let him walk around him?

So it was no surprise that his wife accused him of beating her up for 25 years.

True, most divorces are messy, especially when a woman is trying to walk away with over 50% of her husband's belongings that he earned and she didn't. Women tend to say all kinds of awful things when they're in the process of trying to take their husband to the cleaners.

Isn't your lean listed as 'libertarian-right'? Lol aren't you supposed to not believe in the Federal Reserve Bank? Why is it so difficult to give credit to Grayson if he essentially believes what you believe on this one issue?

An ass is an ass even if he's saying something I agree with.

Grayson is discredited for being an 'ass' by you, but he worked with Ron Paul and several Republicans to try and instill greater transparency at the Fed. He deserves some credit for that.

 See what I just said.

yeah he was a disgrace of a congressman for sure. how he got elected once let alone twice is beyond me.
it is the district he was running in.
