The 'hard work' talking point, in one simple comic strip

Not really. If anything, wealth gathered over generations, now.

Lets assume all rich/upper middle class people are only there because of accumulated wealth. They have money by the sole virtue of the fact that their parents had money. What exactly is immoral with this? It takes some level (quite a bit, actually) of intelligence to maintain wealth and distribute it properly to grow it.

Assuming you have an explanation on as to how this is immoral, what is your moral solution?

Fine. Then if that's the level of respect you'll show me and the level of intelligence you'll put into a post to me, just ignore my posts because I would hate to be the reason of any confusion for you.

Don't ask me again if I've ever worked for a living. It's a personal insult to me, and you damn well know it.

I don't know that. What you're doing here is avoiding becasue you have no answeres and saying that I'm disrespecting you is just a dodge.

I'm certainly NOT trying to disrespect you, and I think you very well know that.

My questions are extremely simple and require very easily obtained answers: experience and informend commentary is all that's necessary.

Now, if you can't answer the questions then just say so.

I've answered your first two questions. If you lack the ability to understand, then that is not my problem.

Holy ****. Was THAT pathetic. I'm not shocked that it appeals to the poor poor me...its not my fault crowd.

BTW...the 'hard work' talking point has nothing to do with the drivel relayed in that comic strip. But then...when you get your talking points from a comic strip one cant expect very much from you.

and it's much easier to work from the ground up when you are highly educated and not drowning in debt. i advocate this solution to the problem.

That is an excellent idea; if only education were a priority in this country, things could get better.

No, not a slow pitch; a reasonable question that you're apparently not able to answer.

The difference in schools has always been there - why?

Because people like Beau and Vance have always been screaming that public schools are "socialist," and try to defund them as much as possible.

Nothing more motivating than economic determinism!

Everyone is subject to influences on their lives that they don't control. Grow up and deal with it.

That said, I agree that there's no such thing as "absolute" determinism. It's just that some people get to start on first, second, or third base.

But - nope.

It's not immoral. Its just economically unviable.
