Re: 2016 Presidential Election night discussion

Some info from the exit polls:

Party ID, 37% dem, 32% gop and 31% ind

the 2012 numbers: 38% dem, 32% gop and 29% ind

So I would expect a similar result to the 2012 election. Hillary by 2.5% is my guess

Re: 2016 Presidential Election night discussion

I just turned on the news, and already I am depressed, and they have not even talked about who will win...

Re: 2016 Presidential Election night discussion

So... how does one make a great quiche?

NO no.... don't bait Red. lol

I put in and received tomorrow as a day off. I'm planning on a late night. What's some good election returns watching food?

Breaking Bad. That'll cheer you up. "Waterloo Bridge" or "Hell in the Pacific" perhaps?

Oh there will be drinking. There will be drinking.

I need food though so I don't pass out before the returns come in.

Re: 2016 Presidential Election night discussion

Well, predictions appear to look favorable for Clinton and marijuana legalization in MA. I'm about to head out for a proper Sichuan dinner and hopefully things will be clearer when I return.

The glasses of whiskey I've consumed thus far haven't helped on the point of clarity, however. I may end up working Sunday instead of tomorrow......

(I'm my own boss, so yeah....I can do that.)

Re: 2016 Presidential Election night discussion

No matter who wins, America loses. It's all about the Supreme Court from where I sit. If Hillary wins, progressives will have a majority on the Supreme Court and will destroy the Constitution. If Trump wins, who knows what will happen but the SC is less likely to be destroyed than if he loses.

mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto is a good snacking food, along with some garlic bread (need something to soak up the alcohol) and some gouda and pancetta for some good contrasting flavors.

Re: 2016 Presidential Election night discussion

Good luck America! Fingers crossed for you either way!

Re: 2016 Presidential Election night discussion

I think I'll go all partisan and watch the returns with The Young Turks because Cenk getting excited cracks me up.

He is in the running for much punchable face award

I got my lighter ready for a good constitution burning!

I include this link with a huge caveat: Don't take it as gospel, the methodology is entirely untried. Just kinda an interesting tool: Votecastr Election Day Turnout Tracker

Exit polling is weird right now since they are not spoiling the surprise. I noticed that Clinton beat Trump pn who would be a better commander in chief, and when was the last time a democrat did better than a republican at that? It won't matter much if at all, but it kinda lept out at me.
