Relationship dealbreakers

Financial disasters. Cheating, abuse and addiction round out the list.
 
In line with my earlier apercus, anything malodorous, inasmuch as sexual attraction is so largely a matter of scent.
 
1. Cheating

2. Cigarettes

3. Being an asshole all the time

4. Being a stupid person (I do not care how good you look if I can't have an in-depth conversation about a complex topic, I just won't be attracted overall).

5. Fundamental dishonesty (be it hiding a heroin habit or hiding the fact that you've got 50k debt on your various cards I don't know about)

6. Violence

7. Obesity (sorry, shallow or not I'm just not attracted to it. Probably just offended someone, but there it is).

one girl wanted and open relationship and i didnt

becausae she was oblivious to std's and i was educated on them

so i had to dump her

if it wasnt for std's i never would have had a single closed relationship lol

i liked sex without a condom so i had to find a good clean girl

or just scare her into monogomy with std horror stories hhaha

One thing I see in a lot of couples even without children is the partners making rules against having certain things.

If my partner told me I couldn't own something that wasn't of any particular danger I would go out and get it and he could just hit the road.

I see this all the time. I was looking at motorcycles a few years back and one of my friends told me his wife would never let him have one of those. I didn't say anything to him but I thought to myself she wouldn't have a choice. If I wanted one I would get one. I don't need permission.

I don't mind discussing it with my partner and at the time I was looking for one we did discuss it and I decided it's probably not the right time mostly because he wanted to go to college to be a teacher.

So it's not so centered it's my partner not being self-centered.

hmmm . . .quick to anger, abusive, cheater, felon, liar, hardcore drug user, well below avg intelligence, no sense of humor, Asshole (racist or bigot) I guess off the top of my head

oh and this came up with friends . .for the first time ever politics COULD play a role but it would have to be very specific politics . . right left center wouldn't matter to me

but if you are a QAnon nutter, or extreme Trumpism (as in you think the election was stolen, support 1/6 or think it was no big deal) yep . .beat it

What I can't deal with are fat women, big mouthed women, stupid women and uncultured women.

I am so lucky when it comes to abuse. Ive always been treated very well. Im the first to say my relationship failures are mostly my fault.

Good luck but that is not so easy in this day and age.

Women's lib of the 70's has become the death blow to women wanting families. They did it to themselves. I feel bad for my daughters but it is what it is.
 
Here is one thing that worries me. Growing up i had 2 older sisters and they were out of the house when i was 13. My parents loved each other i guess but they fought all the time. I grew very close to my dad and distant from my mom. Marriage scares me. i dont want it to be constant bickering
